I love this shop. The owner Gene is very helpful. There are great varieties to choose from in flies and flyfishing gear, but also gear for other serious fishermen and fisherwomen. I also love the great collection of books and it is an awesome hub for fishermen and fisher women to gather and tell the words fisher-folk love to hear.

This is the only place to go in the poconos for quality fly gear and outstanding customer service. The staff really knows the area and fish it regularly. Always feel welcomed when we visit

The owner is amazing. We did't know what fly fishing was and he voluntarily took us out of the shop and gave us a demonstration. He is the nicest guy and will answer any of your questions. Highly recommend you check it out.

This fly shop is the best. They are extremely knowledgeable, personable and mostly patient to this new to fly fishing 70 year old lady. It is a great place to shop. I got my fly rod, boots, rain gear, and tons of fly tying materials. I even had an on the river wading and fish casting lesson. No question I ask is too “stupid” and I ask many of them. LOL. Definitely try this outdoor beautiful sport and enjoy the bad weather day tying flies. Life can really be good when dealing with AA outfit Tera!

Highly recommended and fully stocked, fly shop for all your fly fishing and fly tying needs. Gene, the owner is extremely knowledgeable and does his best to lead you in the right direction with any questions you might have. The other associates also have years and years of angling and tying experience. They are more than eager to share those experiences and skills to help you become a better angler. The guys have really guided me along my fly fishing journey in a positive way. 1st class establishment and the only place I go in the area.

Guided Trout Fishing Trip was Great! My friend and I came into town with our wives. They went shopping. We went fishing. We did a full-day trout fishing trip with our guide, Ben. Ben did and excellent job. He really worked hard to help us catch fish. We caught twenty-one trout between the two of us and we both caught rainbow, brown, and brook trout. Great experience! Great locally owned fly shop. Well stocked with fly fishing gear and fly tying materials. The staff is very knowledgeable on all aspects and can help out a beginner or seasoned veteran. They have knowledge of the local waters and hatches and can get you to the right place.

I had a fantastic fishing trip with my guide Ben. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and a patient teacher. He quickly had me on some excellent fish and we had a very fun and productive half day on the Lehigh. Would highly recommend and I plan to do it again! Excellent fly shop as well.

Go to fly shop for the Blakeslee area in Poconos. They have everything you need from waders to custom made tapered leaders, which I strongly recommend, much better than what you can buy on Amazon and the prices throughout the store are all pretty great. The guys there are always very helpful with advice and recommendations as well.

If you're interested in learning how to fly fish, they offer an amazing guided tour that comes with a bit of an entomology lesson! Everything is provided from fly poles/rigs to waders and shoes.

The owner of AA outfitters and fly fishing store is a very knowledgeable man on the sport of fly fishing. He has given me countless tips on the sport of fly fishing and helped me with what type of flies are best used in certain times of the year. I would highly recommend this store for anyone!

Great fly selection and great quality flies that endure the wear and tear of the elements. They have everything you need from waders to floatant, from beginning fly rod kits to the most advanced nymphing rigs. Super helpful owner, locally owned and operated, next to some of the best fishing in the USA (if you love catching trout). They offer supplies if you tie your own, and if you want to learn how to fly fish they offer guided tours that include everything you need to fly fish, plus an entomology portion of the lesson!

I just recently got a new fly rod and after using it a few times, I broke it. I took it back to the shop because of the warranty I was able to get the pieces replaced. Two weeks later, I picked it up and everything was perfect. Overall, a very good experience with how the owner took care of me.

Gene does a great job. I can always count on great gear, sound advice and good conversation. He even helped my wife get started in fly fishing.
