Joy is the most knowledgeable and holistic massage therapist in Idaho. It's rare to get bodywork done by someone that has such an in-depth understanding of the body, resulting in one of the best massages I've ever received. She cares about the whole person and is a professional who communicates extremely well to gain understanding of the issues and needs of her client. I would highly recommend her. After only one session, I am back on track with better mobility and looking forward to increased pain relief and greater all around mobility after future therapy sessions. Her knowledge is above and beyond and she was perfectly in tune with my muscles, leaving me feeling so refreshed and rejuvenated. I cannot say enough good things about Joy! I had been feeling tight and stressed up until and through the holidays and I needed a new massage therapist close to my new work below the rim in downtown Boise. I simply google searched and called and she was amazing from the moment she answered the phone! Her massage room is truly the most zen experience I've had and I didn't even know that would be important to me. If you need a relaxing and loving experience (sorry to be so touchy/feely) then you need some Joy in your life. I recommend her for all ages and all issues. Best. Massage. EVER. Joy's best attribute is her calm and confident spirit that puts you at ease as soon as you arrive. Combine that with years of experience and a true passion for her craft. Then you have someone who can accurately diagnose the issues that brought you to her, and impart the proper methods of healing. The space is inviting. The music is relaxing. The energy is everything. I have a physically demanding occupation. I've been in a car accident. I could go on, but the point is: I've had a lot massage therapy in my time. Joy is the best. A gentle yet firm touch with as much pressure as you need. I was beyond relaxed, and felt better physically, mentally, and spiritually better afterwards. She is very intune with what your body needs. I walked in feeling like I had been tumbled down a mountain and walked out feeling 100 times better. The area is very relaxing and comfortable and she makes you feel like a guest not a customer. I would highly recommend
