Blain Hotel & Restaurant

Nice little restaurant off the beaten path. You can't find nicer people that work there and those that patronize the place.
I have never tasted mash potatoes that good. And a wonderful salad full of fresh greens and vegetables! As a vegetarian, I have never left there hungry. Lots of choices.
Don't pass this place up!

So let's get a few things out of the way:

- CLEAN! Place is spotless - even in the places you'd think would be missed.
- Nope, no WiFi. In fact, I had NO cell reception at all!
- They serve Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner - all great!
- The place has a 'dated', rustic look - OK with me, but some might be put off by it.
- With 1/2 the tables blocked off due to the Far East Virus, you might be waiting for a seat during busy hours.
- Your servers and cooks are just local folks using local foods to feed you.

I LOVE this place. I live in Perry county, but far from Blain. Nonetheless, I will drive way out there once in a while to experience the food this place offers.

I've never been disappointed: Portions are good, service is fairly quick, and the food is well cooked and tasty.

Food was awesome. Had the crispy chicken sandwich and it was huge and delicious for a great price. My kinda place.

I was there at the hotel 2 days ago and the soup was awesome the 60z burger was on point, great job ladies for keeping are small town restaurant alive.....

Service was excellent for all 18 of us. The food was very good. The staff made us feel welcomed. Recommend checking this little place out.

Been going here since I was a child. Love the updates and new management. Food is great and staff is so helpful.

Some of the best home cooked food in the business. Janelle and her staff are delightful and make everyone feel like family.

They were short staffed and the owner, normally the chef, waited on us. She couldn't have been sweeter and the food was very good.

Very nice courtious service and the food was great, and being I have allergies to dairy this is one of the few places that actually made sure there was no butter on my food !!! THANK YOU!!!
