Deer Lake Pub and Restaurant

Fantastic fish and chips! A generous portion of perfectly fried beer battered haddock served with sides. I tried the Monte crisco sandwich and was not disappointed. Friendly welcoming staff and a relaxing upbeat atmosphere.

BBQ Bacon Burger - Excellent! Wait staff was very friendly even though they are short staffed - really deserves five stars just for how hard the staff are working! Love coming here and the food never disappoints!

By far one of the best eats locally!! Food, drinks, and atmosphere is so delicious and amazing. And the staff is wonderful!! I highly recommend everyone come here at least once!!! We will definitely be returning here in the future!!!

1st time here. Stopped in for a beer and some wings on a Sunday late afternoon. Not very busy. The bartenders were very polite and accommodating. Wings were good and the beer was cold. Definitely will be stopping in again if in that neck of the woods.

Great place, friendly staff, great food, besides the reg food weekly specials are served. Lobster and Shrimp bisque was wonderful so was the Bison Burger. If you are in the area, stop in, you will be glad you did

Took a shot in the dark being out of town and DLP heavily responded! This place is absolutely amazing. Good service, but the food... Oh man, the food! Just incredible. So much detail and heart went into our meals, it was beyond anything we ever had. Jalapeno chipotle marinated chicken street tacos to the fried mozzarella. Just tasted like dreams. There's so much to say about our entrees, but so little time. Enjoy the pics of the DLP burger and Bison burger. We Will be back!

This is a great little restaurant that is probably not recognized enough. I love a good Ruben, and theirs was delicious! My kids got the prime rib. Not only did it smell delicious it was as well. Unfortunately the restaurant didn't have any music or such for us the listen to or TV'S on to give it a little atmosphere.

I want to thank the staff at Deer Lake Pub for allowing us to have our club's Christmas dinner at their establishment. We had more than enough space, the food was great, the staff was welcoming and friendly, the service was outstanding. The owner was very easy to work with when making the reservations, picking the buffet option, and payment day of. It was such a stress-free experience!

So much yummy food to choose from. Also great service. You won’t regret coming here for a good meal and some drinks.

Wow! great first time experience visited there with my girlfriend and the food was great, very friendly quiet place has a bar side and a restaurant side we went to the restaurant side.. I had a California cheese steak, it was very cheesy so it was nice to have something different compared to others that don't have more cheese.. She had the shrimp with rice I believe none of the less we were happy with our food and she or I did not have complaints.. we tried dessert we had the lemon cake and it was very good. It was a little bit on the pricier side but it was worth most of the money the food menu is a little bit on the pricier side but again the food was worth the money.. will visit again

The chef makes amazing food. The bartenders are friendly and amazing. The atmosphere is relaxing. They have a restaurant area if the bar scene is not your thing. If you've never been here, you must take the opportunity.

Unbelievable experience!! We arrived 7 min before restaurant side was closing...thought I'd ask if we could eat. The waitress was a young girl and was so nice to let a family of four with teens eat ( we had been driving across state for 8 hrs)
She was so friendly and accommodating. We had appetizers, Reubens and turkey dinner. Food was great, service above great. I will be driving 45min just to go back again!!

The service and food were both absolutely great ! The owner Brian came out and chatted with us for a bit. The rib eye eas cooked perfectly as was my daughters burger. The experience was fantastic

This place does a lot of things right, and the area is lucky to have it. The menu is well written and prices extremely reasonable, two surefire signs of ownership that cares and a chef who knows and loves his work. We had truffles fries, boneless wings, which were almost like fritters, and an excellent shrimp and lobster bisque to start, followed by crab cakes and the hot turkey and gravy plates. I had zero complaints and had to resist the urge to go chat with the chef, wanting to tell him that if one uses lobster leg meat in the bisque it lowers food costs. Thank God I no longer work in the F&B industry, but over the years worked or consulted for 53 different establishments in 14 states and 3 locations outside the US. This place could hold it's own in any market for value, quality and overall experience. Thanks for the awesome sauce. I will be back for sure!

Very tasty food. Great quality. Wings were very good, although could have been a bit more crispy for my liking. I really like their sauce selections. Really looking forward to the brewery collab in the dining room! Keep it up guys and girls. Service was phenomenal.

Nice atmosphere, good food, reasonable prices, owner pays attention to guests and isn't afraid to lend a hand to his employees. Bar is well stocked & bartenders are very friendly. Non smoking but patrons can quickly go outside if they need a cig or vape. Great for a night out with friends as well as dining alone.

Food is amazing (worth every penny), bar is spacious with friendly bartenders, and the typical bar crowd is relaxed. Restaurant area in the backside of the pub if you don't want to eat in or at the bar area, which is nice. All burgers are good, wings will compete with any restaurant around, nice appetizers, and an overall great selection of food on the menu. Don't sleep on the cheesesteaks there. When I lost my taste due to covid, the only thing I could still taste was a DLP cheesesteak (No bs). I see you reading this review, so what are you waiting for? Go treat yourself to a beer and some good food.

Found this place after visiting Hawk mountain preserve. I needed a place that had some outside seating and they did. While I didn't go inside the front of the restaurant was perfect. We had sandwiches which were delicious and you can never go wrong with a pint of Guinness. Service was efficient and pleasant.

I cannot speak more highly of a restaurant! From the service, to the apps, to the soup, to the entrees and the drinks this place ranks so high. There was virtually no wait and I cannot tell you why. EVERYTHING was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. There is a pub side and a regular restaurant side so it is family friendly and so good! You've got to try it! Oh and get the frickles!!

Stopped on our way back from visiting Dancer & Prancer for photos. The staff was fantastic! The owner came to speak with us regarding concerns over our grandson's seafood allergies. Our server was amazing with the grands and very accommodating during our indecision. Food was good. A delightful way to spend the afternoon.
