419 Market Cafe & Eatery

This place is my favorite. The atmosphere is eclectic, artistic, and full of charm. Everything we have eaten here has been phenomenal. Salmon lox bagel was killer. Maryland crab chowder blew my mind. Lemon lavender biscotti was perfection.

On our first visit, the owner/artist came out and gave us a tour and we could immediately tell the cafe was a reflection of her personality and spirit.

We come here every time we are in town and will continue to do so.

Outdoor space was clutch also.

My first time here and loved the feel and look of the place. It’s warm, beautiful and cozy. I loved the way it was decorated for the holidays and I had a yummy tuna salad sandwich and delicious salad.

Drove about 83 miles for the sole purpose of stopping at this cafe before going a little further to a small antique market. The waitress, atmosphere and delicious food were well worth the road trip! My husband got their breakfast sandwich and I had their multigrain oatmeal with nuts & fruit! With every bite I took I was sighing with delight! My husband totally enjoyed his breakfast and had all he could do to finish it! The cashier is well placed with two cases of biscotti, macaroons, and cakes starring you in the face! Naturally we bought some macaroons and biscotti. The macaroons will knock your socks off, so dang yummy! The biscotti is not your typical hard, dry Italian biscotti which I love. The best way I can describe the biscotti here is underbaked, chewy, HUGE slices, and tasty. We will definitely return and this time do the lunch menu!

This place is a hidden gem I had broccoli cheese soup and hot chocolate for lunch tons of homemade baked goods that are to die for great service and a lovely country atmosphere I will go here more often💚

My girlfriend wanted to go here for her birthday, we got here for lunch. When I first walked in I thought "Oh, God where in the world did she take me!" The place is decorated like a hurricane came through. The menu is very hard to understand because its like the decorations in the dining area (scattered). I had the Pastrami sandwich, 10 out of 10 the best one I've ever had. I will definitely be coming back!

It was my first time coming here. The place looked wonderful and they have a lot of food on their menu!! the waitress was extremely nice and the food was really good :)

Best cheesesteak I ever had,highly recommend this place. Everything I’ve tried here was really good and really good desserts.

Lots of ambiance and good food at this family owned and operated restaurant. Back deck is ready for a relaxing, festive, good eating BYO time! Can u say Cinco de Mayo😃

An awesome café that just exudes great energy! Such great pastries. Every time I go there the food is top notch. Just stop in and grab a positive saying card!

Interesting decor. It is worth going just for that! The menu was great and we really enjoyed the sandwiches we ordered. We can recommend the Baltimore and the Ruben. The service was great, no complaints here, we will go back. (Parking is tricky)

My very favorite place in the county! Best lox bagel is here...better than any in NYC. And Tuesday's is tacos day and they are amazing. Best macaroons and I love the Hawaiian salted carmel iced coffee! Sweet and creative staff!

I just had a delicious bagel with salmon and beautiful salad plus a great cuppa coffe in a gorgeous garden at the back of the Cafe. The staff was so nice. Eagerly looking forward to my next visit!

Visiting from out of town and found this restaunt on my Google search. So glad I tried it out because it was so good! The ambiance was so unique and my waiter (Michael) was so friendly and helpful. Had my little pooch, we sat outside and the outside area felt very peaceful. I ordered a cupcake, Philly cheese steak and fries and wow I am a big foodie so I am picky but all was delicious! Highly highly recommend for many reasons!

This was the first time eating here the food was definitely a 10 there soups are a must try. And get the bucket of fresh cut 🍟 fries awesome.

Stopped in for lunch today and had a one of a kind experience. Sure, it took a bit more time than we expected, but the owner was very personable and the food was excellent. Highly recommend the Pastrama-Rama for their home made Pastrami. Also the Strawberry-Rhubarb Granola/Crumble was amazing. Left with a full belly and some fresh hibiscus pods from the garden out back! Will definitely be back soon and highly recommend. Just be sure to allow yourself time to enjoy the atmosphere and the experience and don't try to rush it.

It was unexpected and most delightful. A full menu with wonderful and interesting choices. The atmosphere was wonderful and the service was excellent. They actually give you time to sit down, look at the menu and enjoy your meal. It's a small place with more room on the inside than you might expect. Everything about the experience was positive. The only drawback was that it's not closer to my home. But it's only an hour away and I would drive that and more for a place like the 419 Market Cafe & Eatery. We will definitely be back!
