Very fast n efficient visit for my daughter today. Staff was amazing n caring n great listeners. Helped her very much n handled her health with dignity n respect. Very grateful!

I had to get surgery in the outpatient. The experience was fantastic. All the nurses were very kind despite me being nervous. The one anesthesiologist was amazing. I forget her name but she has excellent bedside manner. Such a sweet woman!!

If I could leave less than 1 star I would! This Pottsville hospital is a joke! I dropped my mom off at 5:30 pm at the emergency room I called her back a few hours later to see what was going on and she told me she's still sitting in the waiting room! To make a long story short my mom is still waiting to find out the blood and CT Xray results. She's still there and haven't heard anything yet! It's 10 to 11 hrs later! Unbelieva.ble! ALSO THE STAFF IS VARY RUDE! While NEVER go to this unprofessional idiot people! WARNING ⚠ don't go to this hospital! Go a different one!

Absolutely horrendous. Do not go here if you have any serious medical needs. They’ll put you on meds you don’t need and make you more sick. It’s happened to two people in my family over a course of years. Disgusting. I’d be ashamed to work there.

So the staff here is very under knowledged, not helpful, and unprofessional, my mom got a call from her doctor telling her to go to the ER immediately due to her sodium and blood sugar being dangerously low and she was at high risk of cardiac arrest, she hasn't been feeling well all day today and her symptoms are getting worse. Her symptoms include chest pains, all the hospital did was do blood work, tell her to drink powerade and use allergy medicine? Then send her home

I came here once with my boyfriend because my crohns became uncontrolled and they told me to go to the ER if such happens, I waited for HOURS just for them to tell me I have a UTI when I didn't and then they sent me home?

Both experiences we waited a long time just for them to send us home and we sat in an ice cold room to the point we were shivering and turning pale, this happened BOTH times
They did not help at all, please choose another hospital even if it's a longer drive

Staff couldn't be bothered to make the appropraite calls to get admitted children transferred. We had to make the calls ourselves to get our child transferred, meanwhile there are several other kids admitted within that have been waiting for over a week because the staff is more interested in other things rather than the health, well being, and rightful placement of their patients. I couldn't be more disgusted with the service they provided in the regard. Shame on them

A few days ago my father drove himself to the emergency room at 1 in the morning for abdominal pains. He was a nurse himself, so he brought along all the pills that he took so they would know what pain meds they could give him. They kept saying they didn't know which pills he was on when they clearly had them all in a bag with him. When he arrived at the ER, he told them he this he perferrated something in his stomach due to the steroids he was taking for cluster headaches. They ran a bunch of test, and found nothing. Once he was admitted into the hospital, there was minimal check up from nurses, we were lucky if a nurse came in once every 3 hours. He was complaining that the pain was a 10 even after giving him morphine. Ours later they finally gave him some drugs that calmed him down and slowed the pain a little bit. My mom and I left and she came back a few hours later and his portable urinal was laying on floor with urine all over. No nurse came to help, my mother had to be the one to clean it up. He also had vomit on his bed sheets, and no one came to change them, my mom had to do that too. Two days later they finally tell him he perffereated something and he needs surgery, when he knew that all along and he told them that's what he thought was wrong. Terrible experience never going here again.

There was no wait time for me BUT it was a waste of a trip. I am sick and having a hard time breathing and all the DR did was listen to my chest… 1 am the next day still having the same problem with no explanation on what’s going on. I will definitely absolutely never return to this emergency room! Go to st Luke’s it’s worth the drive!!!!!!

I dropped my nephew and his gf off at 10:00 PM because he hurt his arm and she had a pain in her side. I got a call at 3:30 am and he still wasn't seen but his gf was seen and the difference between them is she has insurance and he doesn't. I called him at 5:00 am and he still wasn't seen. They were taking everyone that came in after him back but they were not taking him back. I finally got tired of it and I call the ER, they told me that ambulances were coming in back to back all night long and that they did not have a room for him (but the had a room for his gf that had insurance) then at 5:37 they finally took him back to check his hurt arm. I told them that I was going to contact a lawyer. They were VERY RUDE. If I was anybody, I would not go to any of the pottsville hospital. If you need to go to a hospital than I would go to Geisinger hospital.

My son is in the kids Ward. He is treated like an animal and injected with way too many drugs by the staff. They refuse him phone time with his family. The nurses are terrible and never have answers for me. He has been in there 22 days and not stable. I am finally asking to transfer him. Do not go to this hospital

Rude employees, doctors, and nurses. Doctors, nurses, PAs, and all other medical staff are unprofessional and seem to know nothing about medical issues and solutions for them. The medical staff will openly talk openly to one another in plain earshot of other staff and patients about patients medical concerns and their personal opinions about them. Saying such things as "pft, they're just here for drugs", "I've been in worse pain, what a b****", "can you believe mr. smith has x, y, and z wrong with them oh man" etc.

The Dr was more interested in flirting with the nurse instead of actually doing his job and was unprofessional. He really didn't go over the results at all.

Where are the doctors
Don't get me wrong the nurses are doing these doctors job. But 7 hours is a bit long to wait when you come in on a ambulance

My godson was admitted on Fri he's being held against his will 🤷🏼‍♀🙄 forced to take psych meds forced to say he's crazy it's unconstitutional and unorthodox how they treat people

Do doctors work in the ER?
Nurses everywhere but no room no doctors just a waste land

Very poor service there weren't busy lost test results and I wasn't able to get any pain meds

They can try to do a little better .
