Bf and I were in the area visiting. We had some spare time and decided to stop. So glad we did. Very fun and elegant selection in the gift shop, from the exotic to the silly. Really great. The place is small, but the exhibits were varied, alligators and turtles and snakes. The dinosaur park was fun too. Good quality animatronics. Wasn't crowded and plenty of benches to sit and rest. Only thing I would suggest to make it better is that the gift shop had signage to purchase the bird seed/emu feed when you walk in. It was kind of a pain walking all the way to the beginning to feed the adorable little birds. Also would like to pet more snakes. Highly recommend for all ages and abilities.

We had a wonderful birthday experience for our two year old! ❤ the exhibits were great, the interactive dinos was really cool. Our kids loved the learning video and watching the instructor work with the snakes and gator. The also LOVED feeding the birds, they sat on the feeding stick for both of our children. The staff was kind - overall, great experience!

I really enjoyed my time here. I was spending time with my dad, and we weren't quite sure what to do, but I remember seeing billboards for this place plenty of times. I thought it would be much smaller and sadder, but it was a lot of fun! Pretty much the reptile parts of a zoo, with really good dinosaur animatronics, an area with parakeet and other small birds for you to walk through, and there's even an emu! It was a lot of fun, and I'd definitely be interested in coming back when it's warmer, so I can see the tortoises outside

The exhibit features high-quality displays and interactive exhibits. Each animal habitat is a unique, well-maintained ecosystem that's both educational and enjoyable. My family and I plan to return in the future, starting with the dinosaur exhibit, which showcases realistic moving models with sound effects.

Small zoo with well kept animals and clean, spacious enclosures. The staff are very knowledgeable about the animal residents. My children really enjoyed the aviary and they even got the opportunity to touch an alligator! The gift shop offers lots of fun souvenirs and there are some snack sold on premises as well.

After seeing signs all over western PA we just knew we had to stop in. Very nice zoo, not at all tacky or cheap! The animals seemed happy and all had friends. Make sure to see a show and feed the parakeets!

They also have the biggest gator I’ve ever seen!

Excellent place to visit. The staff is knowledgeable and does not hesitate to answer any questions. They know about each animal specifically, not just random animals thrown in. The reptiles appear in great health with well kept habitats.

Awesome stop between NY and PA. Definitely fun for the little ones, lots of space to move around, great hands on learning. All of the workers took time to educate us on animals and greeted us with smiles. We all had a fun time.

I've been here twice with my daughter on the way home from a visit to Cherry springs State Park. Both of us really enjoy reptile keeping and have our own pet reptiles. We are very concerned with proper husbandry for our pets and have read quite a bit over the years on that subject. We are happy to see that all of the animals here are well kept in species appropriate conditions. Theres a good variety of animals here and the presentation that we watched was informative and enjoyable. We will come back every time we are drive through this area.

Lots of reptiles and amphibians that seemed well cared for. There are life size dinosaur animatronics. There is also a tent with free-flying budgie birds which you can pay to feed, and the birds will sit on your hand.

EXCELLENT place to take your child if they are a reptile lover. The snake variety is exceptional- gaboon viper green mamba- to name a few the Komodo dragon exhibit is like nothing I’ve seen before- up close and personal. The parakeet landing was a very neat experience- for $3 you can buy food and feed them- of which the birds gladly participate. Clean facilities, cute little gift shop. No need to buy tickets in advance. And the parking is free. There are no restaurants here. If you want to eat fast food I would recommend grabbing it before coming in. There is a gas station/ grill across the street called Snappys that was quite delicious! Over all a very sweet and wonderful experience for our boy!!

Clyde Peeling's Reptiland is nice. It's not a huge park but is still worth going to. They do live shows and you can pet some of the reptiles. We were also able to feed the Emus which was cool!
In the summer it can get really busy and hard to get around but going in the cooler months you can get around, see, and do everything.

Lots of exhibits, purchased the year pass. Good for a toddler to explore and waste energy. The dinosaurs have gotten even more impressive over the years

I birthed my son July 7th and he is two months now. Personally I enjoyed going to this zoo and I know my baby enjoyed himself as well. We will visit at least a few more times as he grows. He did not want to leave and that is always a good sign. I recommend for any age and people in general.

We spent Sunday morning and afternoon at the zoo. We watched every show during the day. The shows were all well done. The presenters were very knowledgeable and could answer questions asked. The displays are well explained as you walk through the exhibit. The Dino land is excellent to show the size of dinosaurs. It was also nice they had animatronic dinosaurs. They were comparable to the dinosaurs that had been at Epcot years ago. I recommend people visit this with your children and grandchildren. It is well worth the cost to enter. They have a lovely gift shop if you are interested in that.
