Pottsville Free Public Library

The library has a new Wi-Fi network that works much better now.

I love this library and I’ve always enjoyed coming here. The design is beautiful and theres a lot of natural light that comes in here. Plus, the librarians are very helpful and a lot more than just books and dvds are provided to the surrounding community through the library.
Sometimes when I cannot focus at home doing work, I’ll come here instead because the environment of this library really helps me focus and work more efficiently.

I've been going here for years and I'm really happy to say that it's a really wonderful place the library does a lot of stuff for the community like activities including video game nights, tarot card readings, and much more stuff it's so fun to be there and I know all of the staff and they all know me they are really friendly and I'm always happy to see such bright faces on people when I walk in the doors. They have movies you can rent, video games you can rent, and much much more

Was a very pleasant experience. Met with Becki. Lovely lady. She scanned pictures for me and put them on a flash drive. I plan on making more appointments in the future for this again and more events in the future and enjoying what our lovely community has to offer and give back when and where I can to contribute.

The staff at the library or phenomenal. They're always happy and willing to help. When my autistic daughter comes in with me, they go out of their way to help her. I love the Pottsville library!

This is a very classic library! A few stories, lol, pun definitely intended, and gorgeous high vaulted ceilings, arched windows that stream in tons of natural light, and very stately yet comfortable furniture! I have wanted to check this library out since spending time here in Pottsville area but I haven't had enough money for parking. I finally was able to pay the meter and am feeling so comfortable while spending the morning here! Staff is very pleasant and attentive. Hope to come back and you should plan a visit it is lovely & quiet!

I love this library! The staff are courteous helpful and knowledgeable. Been going here my whole life since I was a child and it always makes me happy to be there. The place is well maintained and clean, bright and comfortable. The selection of materials is pretty good for a small town library. Of course if they don't have it they can get it through the vast resources available through the interlibrary loan system. And the monthly Friends book sale is great!

I am here mostly everyday because it’s so fun I’m a 15 year old kid and they have so much to do, the staff is very respectful and very polite, I usually go every Tuesday because of a dungeons and dragons night and I am one of the people who take part in it it’s fun how much they do for us they will even play with us so it will be more fun everyone I show the library to loves it and it’s a great hang out place or learning place I would recommend this to everyone and I’m so happy this is a place in Pottsville

We needed to print a boarding pass for a flight, but had no printer. The Library in Pottsville saved the day.
In a matter of minutes we had a computer terminal and got the boarding pass printed easily.

Great helpful staff, internet access and very well stocked. Been in and out of these doors over 20 yrs and still haven't put a dent on there invotory
