Backpacked in with Rachel for an overnight. Cast a bobber and large worm+hook into the cove, propped up fishing pole between two rocks. 30 min later....the pole was gone with drag marks across beach. Rod not visible underwater from shore. Loose bobber was floating later near driftwood pile on opposite side. Cancelled my swimming plans. Don't want to meet the Monster of Hedberg Cove on his turf.

Very peaceful, serene area. The trail is well marked. Great place to lose your cell signal.
