My sister knew she didn’t have too long to live so she had Brian and Caitlyn come to the house. They spoke to her putting down every detail from the Beatles music, the flower packets she gave to remember her, the electric slide we danced to and Happy to say goodbye to her. When we left we knew Chris was smiling above. Brian gave Chris the send off she wanted and a happy memory to remember her by.she wanted people to smile when they thought of her and Slitzer Pugh funeral home gave her that. Thank you Brian.

I was so overwhelmed with the pure kindness and unconditional caring they took to help me through the most unpleasant time in my life. Albert was so helpful. He genuinely cares. Even reaching out to check on my family after the process was over. They made sure all my mothers wishes were met.

I was not prepared for this day and when I called the funeral home they picked up my wife from hospital within half hour, set up appointment, patiently and compassionately held my hand and got me through what was the hardest thing I ever had to deal with. The service was beautiful and director and others made this much easier to get through so God bless Schlitzer Allen Pugh for being there for us in our time of need.

I would highly recommend the Schlitzer-Allen-pugh funeral Home. They took care of everything with the loss of our love one. We didn't know where to start and they made everything easy for us so we didn't have to worry about anything. They are very compassionate. They can even help you with financing. They also touch base with you after the funeral to see how you are doing and they offer additional support to help with the grieving process. I have had to deal with other funeral homes in the past and this is by far the best. I would give them 10 stars if I could. They are excellent. Thank you for everything that you did to help us.

Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh funeral home was both professional and compassionate. They sat with us and talked over all our options and respected our decisions with everything. My mom had requested them for her arrangements and I'm so grateful she did because it made a horrible time in our life easier to get through.

All the staff at Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh were very kind and compassionate. We were able to pre-plan my father's burial. Having the ability to do this made everything easier when the time came. Brian, Ryan and Elizabeth were able to answer any questions promptly. They also have an online grief platform to help the family adjust to this new way of life following the loss of their loved one. Elizabeth and Ryan have be checking in with me over the last two months to make sure we are doing ok. Now I understand why my family has used this funeral home exclusively. Thank you for making this experience much easier.

These people were very friendly and helpful to us. They made the whole process very easy for us and were able to get us the best possible way to take care of our needs. We would use them again if the need would arise.

From pre-planning services for our parents to assistance with monuments, the compassion shown by Schlitzer Allen Pugh (especially Angela Regnier) eased the difficult process. The staff let our family make decisions without any attempt to up-sell. When our mom passed away early on a Saturday morning, they responded immediately... including traveling from Pottsville to Lancaster in a huge snow storm. Their prompt attention, and the kindness they showed our dad, means the world to our family. At bit over a year later and in the midst of the coronavirus crisis, our dad passed away. Our family could not be there for dad at the time of his death, but Schlitzer Allen Pugh was there for him. This firm is professional, courteous and also very communicative. They are a wonderful group of people to deal with when you're going through the death of a loved one. Our Direcror, Angela, was the best. She was there for us for anything we needed. Every person I dealt with had been professional, sympathetic, helpful, respectful, etc. They will guide you through the whole process and explain anything you don't understand. Even during the pandemic they were able to provide a service for us that allowed family to be present and give my dad a fitting burial. This is my 2nd time dealing with them and will use them again in the future when the need arises. I highly recommend their services.

I want to thank Angela and the staff for their support during the loss of my mother. Angela helped to make all the arrangements, as I was In New York City and l was having mom's funeral in Pennsylvania. Anytime I had a question or concern Angie or one of the staff were there to help.
