Super interesting place. Love the historic story behind it. Food was wonderful and service was friendly.

"The Works" and "Frisco Burger" both tasty and served promptly with historical and cozy atmosphere.

If you are anywhere near Maddock, ND you MUST stop here! A great place to dine for any meal as the food is always AMAZING!! The service is great and the food is done quickly. The atmosphere is for all ages to enjoy. The city library is within the building so kids can read a book while waiting. There is also a wonderful coffee shop (limited hours) within. Stop in, you won't regret it!!

My husband and I love Harriman’s. The food is always hot and delicious. Jim (the owner) is a great guy and he works so hard to give our community such a great place to eat and socialize. The Server’s are amazing. Such hard workers. When you’re in Maddock, ND you’ve got to stop at Harriman’s. P.S. Jim has the best bacon and burgers around!

Had dinner there recently and food was good, great atmosphere friendly staff.

Wife and I had business in Maddock and took our kids. We'd heard great things about this restaurant and they were spot on. Wife had the French Dip and I had the Cajun Burger with Ghost Peppers. They must have been sauteed because they were hot but not so much as to keep you from enjoying the burger. However, according to my wife, I did turn a few shades of red eating it. The ambiance is unique in that the community library is within the same confines. A very nicely restored building. We tried to eat there again on Saturday but they are only open until 11AM. We will however be going back in the near future.

As it is the only option in Maddock for real food, I am thankful my hometown eatery has a great owner who knows how to serve great portions with great flavor!

Nice friendly place too eat good food. Staff was very courteous and we received our meals in a timely manner. Thanks keep it local and sponsor our small hometown restaurant.

Fantastic food and great staff! The upstairs is a beautiful live music venue. Had the prime rib special and it was awesome!

This is a historic building. Now a multipurpose. Library Ballroom concert/theater bar restaurant ice cream counter and they are still remodeling/renovating other areas of the building.

Excellent service, lots of food for your money. Big beautiful old opera house. It oozes nastalgic with wide open spaces, opera house upstairs and history on the walls.

Can't imagine what it cost to restore and operate that place. But, to the community, it appears priceless. What a gem!

Maddock, ND has a "treasure" in the Herriman Opera House. The restaurant has home cooked meals, the coffee is wonderful, the Library is an awesome small meeting venue: Simply Wonderful ✔👍💕
