Hanna House is a beautiful and historic farm home. Frances the owner, cook, hostess and charming person is amazing. There is no air conditioning, but the night we stayed the evening was cool and comfortable. There are two screened in porches on the first and second floors that overlook the pond and back farm area.
The bedroom was large and comfortable. The bed I slept in had a firm mattress which I found very comfortable.
The other guests were very nice and engaging. That was probably due to the cooked to order breakfast and plenty of delicious coffee.

Jim and I love the beautiful Hanna House. We always return, primarily because of our hosts Camille and Joe. They are wonderful in making us feel so welcome each and every time. All of the guest bedrooms are unique, so comfortable, relaxing, and have a beautiful bathroom with lovely amenities. The best night’s sleep in the comfy beds! The breakfasts are so amazing, better than any restaurant. We meet new people and it has become a “second home” where we feel like family! Love the glasses of sherry and baked goods that are available every day. We will be back!!

Hello- authentic location, in a lovely location - easily accessible off the GAP in 2 miles before the town of Confluence ....You have to travel less than a half a mile off the Gap- on a safe road- with a shoulder- The host Frances is GENUINE- honest- Loves her property (follow simple rules!)- and enjoy an amazing breakfast (she will ask you what you want the night before) - a cozy bed (we stayed in the NEW ROOM- a bit noisy by the road- bring ear plugs- but had its own bathroom- you will LOVE the unique tub and shower- if you do the shared bathroom in other rooms-- it has a COPPER CLAW FOOT TUB) ... wander the grounds- play the fun games- I simply cannot recommend this place enough ( and I recommend a place rarely)....The town of Confluence has some great pub food type food-(burgers/wraps/amazing fries) try to catch the River's Edge restaurant on a weekend (lamb burgers/soups in season) ....You won't regret a stay here.

Very nice place for a quiet relaxing stay in the country. Close to many interesting locations and the bike trail. Francis is a wonderful hostess and a great cook. The rooms are comfortable. The isn't A/C, but it isn't needed. The ceiling fans keep the house and rooms comfortable even in the worst heat (it was very hot and muggy during my visit).

Loved staying here one night in Oct 2022 while on a GAP C&O tour. Well kept historic home, amazing open room / lobby / dining / living. Very friendly host and guests provide great conversation. Will consider again for all trips in the future through the area!

My group of cyclists stayed here riding from DC to Pittsburgh on the combined C&O Canal Trail and Great Allegheny Passage. This was by far our best lodging on a trip that had great lodging at every stop. The old farm house is stately and arranged with all the comfortable conveniences needed for a weary rider. The hostess was more than just friendly and hospitable, she was a fantastic chef with everything that came from her kitchen welcoming us for an evening and feeding us breakfast before we headed out. I plan a return trip to explore this beautiful area around the Casselman River and Confluence/Ohiopyle.

This is the second time we have stayed at Hanna House and we came back because we enjoyed it so much the first time. Francis likes to greet her guests with a homemade treat--brownies this time. The house is quite old, and furnished with many antiques, but still very comfortable. There is a very unique shower and very deep bathtub in the second floor bathroom.

She made sure we knew that she did not have air conditioning, but it was not an issue for us. We were quite comfortable in our room and found the bed to be very comfortable. It's a quiet, beautiful setting out in the country, not too far from the GAP trail. We stayed at Hanna House because we were biking the trail and it is conveniently located. Breakfast with Francis is wonderful--she asks for your order the night before and when you would like to eat. She cooked some fresh asparagus to go with the eggs, sausage and toast. It was really delicious!!

My GAP trail biking partner and I were seeking refuge from a coming storm when we cycled up to to this great B&B. It was better than either of us could have imagined. Frances was an amazing host -- offering brownies and iced tea upon our arrival, and cooking an amazing breakfast the following morning. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and affordable. Frances and her other guests were as friendly as could be. Though we didn't have the chance to explore the grounds, the three-story house sits on a large and beautiful farm, and there's storage for bikes in a stand-alone shed at the end of the driveway. Our only complaint was that, seeing as the house is a few blocks away from the trail, a few more well-placed signs leading the way wouldn't have hurt.

This place was so nice. Frances is an incredibly friendly host. She had refreshments waiting for us upon our arrival and the breakfast she made for us the next morning was so good. She makes the best banana nut muffins I've ever had. Also...the house was such a beautiful place.

This bed and breakfast is phenomenal! My husband and I stayed here this past weekend and we felt right at home. Frances is the owner of this B&B and she does such a nice job at making you feel comfortable and she keeps the house and property in pristine condition. She makes you a delicious breakfast in the morning. When we arrived Saturday afternoon she was there to greet us with homemade brownies and refreshing mint and lemon tea. The B&B is located on 100 acres that you are free to explore during your stay. This location is also less than 10 minutes away from Ohiopyle which is a huge plus! We will definitely be back to stay at Hanna House.

My son Ryan and I stayed last fall. Frances welcomed us warmly, gave us a quick tour and allowed us to do our own thing. Our intention was to fish the given area, but honestly had a hard time leaving the "farm". We enjoyed hiking some of the acreage. and fishing the pond.
Breakfast was a real treat, w/ a side of very fresh tomato.
We intend to be back soon Frances!

Bicyclists riding The Great Allegheny Passage and passing Confluence Pennsylvania, this is a wonderful stay. Frances is a great hostess in her small farm Bed and Breakfast. Good breakfasts made to order and served with grace. Farm house built in the late 1800's is surrounded by gardens. Interiors are comfortable and quiet. Transportation to and from town is available often from Frances herself!

Frances was a wonderful hostess. The breakfast was amazing! The grounds and the house were neat and tidy. With 100 acres of land, there was plenty to do and lots of space to relax and play badminton, horseshoes, corn hole, anything you want. We will miss Snookums, the cat!

This place is a must place to stay. The owner is wonderful and welcoming to biker and hikers. We called last minute. 65 miles of biking in the rain and full of mud. She let us wash our bikes and panniers, store the bikes in the 1garage. We wiped the panniers before entering the home.

Myself and a friend road the Greater Allegheny Pass / C&O Canal bike route and our itinerary had us stopping in Confluence for the night.

We arrived without any reservations but, being a Wednesday night in the 'almost Off Season,' we didn't expect a problem. We were wrong. After calling half a dozen places in town, we broadened the search just a bit and stumbled on Hanna House and couldn't be happier with the outcome.

If you are heading East (ie..to DC,) Hanna House is only a mile or two further down the trail and only 5mins off the trail itself. Hang a Right on Hogback then a Left on Listonburg and it is a few hundred yards on your Left.

The property is beautiful, the accommodations just fine, the breakfast good, the brownies and mint tea the night before even better. Francis, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with and I thought the rates fair and reasonable.

At first, NOT staying in Confluence may seem like a disadvantage until you actually see Confluence. We stopped by Mitchell's (a gas station with an outstanding deli counter) and grabbed some food to go for the short ride out to Hanna's. That said, Francis also gave another pair of cyclists a lift back into town to grab food if balancing a large pizza box on your front panniers is not an option! :)

Of the various places we stayed on our trip, Hanna House was the clear favorite and I hope you give it a try!!

Amazing farm, beautiful property, warm home, delicious breakfast, lovely hostess in Turkeyfoot, PA. I had a great experience at Hannah House Bed and Breakfast. They care for their guest and make you feel welcomed. If you are visiting in the area must book here for whatever your occasion. Thank you Frances!

We stayed here last week while hiking the GAP trail. This was by far the nicest B&B we stayed in while hiking the GAP trail. Fran was a superb hostess. I highly recommend. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I spent two great nights at the Hanna House just outside of Confluence on our 6 day bike trip along the GAP trail. The 120 year old brick farmhouse is roomy and comfortable with an inviting, laid back feel. The 100 acre property makes for a relaxing setting when sitting on the open porches. Frances, the hostess and proprietor, is a fine innkeeper and excellent cook .

Wonderful place to stay. Frances is a warm hostess. Classic inn/B&B in an old farmhouse. Tea & cake when we arrived, home-cooked breakfast. Wifi, no TVs - porches with great views instead. Loved it.

Frances keeps a beautiful, calm, and welcoming inn. This ranks among the best B&Bs where I've ever stayed. Frances greeted us with fresh iced tea and delicious brownies. She was gracious and warm without being the least bit intrusive. I love staying here.
