Smith's Colonial Motel

very easy check in and payment.
Mike was super helpful. The motel was very easy to find, an excellent location.
the room was perfect. clean, with everything we needed: refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave. the beds were comfortable and warm.
I had to laugh because we were in a room with three beds. it reminded me of Goldie locks and the three bears. the papa bed was hard, the mama bed was soft the twin baby bed was just right.

My daughter lives a couple of miles from the Smith Colonial. My wife and I stay at the Smith Colonial 3 to 4 times a year for the last 3 years. The management , the owner and the service is terrific. We have stayed in just about all of the rooms, they are all very clean and comfortable. We love this motel. I'm looking forward to my next stay at the Colonial.

We came into town for a funeral, we all took up the whole motel. My husband and I came a night early, we were so pleased at the room. The lady there was so sweet and kind. I would love to go back in the summer. Definitely will recommend this wonderful place.

Quick trip to attend funeral. Pleasant friendly welcome. Nice clean room maybe recently renovated. All the niceties hair dryer, shampoo, microwave, refrigerator etc.

Quiet location along the Delaware River. Views are magnificent. The staff is friendly and very willing to make your stay perfect. Rooms are smaller but not cramped. A great place to stay.

Such a small, homey, clean motel. Daily service! Tremendous views and convenient location to Upper Delaware region.

Comfortable beds, TV that works, hot water, down home feel.

The owner, Mr. Mike was very friendly and made sure we arrived safely even though we showed up late at night. The rooms were clean and smelled good. The view out of the window couldn’t be beat. Thanks!

The view here is fabulous. Mountains, dear, it was great. Room was well maintained and everything you need. Definitely will stay here again.

This place is definitely one of those hidden gems you find when you get lost. The room (#2) was amazing and the view was even better. Thank you Mike for suggesting that room and the places to eat in town. Will definitely make this a long weekend stop for sure

We had a great stay! This is a motel out of an older kinder age. Clean, dog friendly and wonderful staff. If you want to catch the vibe of the western Catskills this is the place

I had a great experience at Smith's. The rooms are tidy and comfortable and have great views (field, hills, and water). Customer service was friendly and efficient -- and I even checked just in time to get a free movie ticket! If you're passing through the area, this is a lovely place to stop for a good night's sleep.

While on a motorcycle trip a heavy, hours-long downpour squashed our plans of camping. Proprietor Mike graciously offered us his last room despite our soggy state. Excellent little motel with clean rooms, great view of the East Branch river valley, and within easy reach of Hancock. Most importantly an ice cream stand is right up the street!

This was such a sweet little cozy place to stay. Right next to the river and such a beautiful view. Would stay there again.

Stayed at Smiths Colonial a few times now they are still fantastic. Clean, cozy and accommodating. Really nice people and the scenery is second to none. Keep up the good work, see you all again soon.

Was taking the boys on a quick 2 day hunting trip and needed a place to sleep and shower. I have never stayed at a roadside motel before and was apprehensive. I called to reserve a room, and was greated by a super friendly guy named Dennis also the proprietor. Smiths Colonial was perfect. Stayed 2 nights this weekend. Rooms are clean, shower is nice and hot, fresh clean towels, the room had a fridge, a microwave, cable tv, and a coffe pot. The views in the back are absolutely second to none. I would 100% recommend them if you need a nice clean safe place to lay your head and take a nice hot shower. Dennis is super nice, and friendly.

We'll be back in the spring for our spring hunt for sure!

Wonderful place! Was in the area fly fishing and needed to stay one night. Called and made the reservation, and since I expected it was going to be later when I would arrive, the owner left a key in my room door and precharged me so I didn't need to visit the lobby late. Price was amazing for the area!

Rooms were very clean, comfortable and cozy. Microwave and mini-fridge in my room was nice. Good size room and secure.

The grounds were well maintained clean and nice.

This will be my go to spot to stay whenever I'm in the Hancock area! Recommended!

We where driving late night and getting sleepy. We found this gem thankfully. Dennis was very accommodating. Glad the doggie woke him up to help us out. The property is beautiful and very clean. Very well maintained and great view as well. Thank You for our lovely stay. 10 stars⭐

Clean place! Very well maintained. Not much selection up here but this is you’re best bet! Staff is friendly and accommodating. Plus there’s a cute black lab on location. Thanks for a comfortable night

This place was amazing to me and my crew. They really did cater to us more than they needed to. Dennis and his wife are truly amazing people and made our 7 week stay a very pleasurable one for sure. I highly recommend this place. Rooms are newly remodeled and the TVs and wifi are great. Shower was a little small but that is honestly all I could complain about. Try this place you won't be disappointed!!!
