The food from the firewood oven is amazing. The steak and trout are must haves. The cheese was tasty too, very smokey.

Great local bar with a wonderful staff and fantastic drinks. We a had a fun Friday night cocktail stop and everyone was friendly. We felt at home. Thank you 🍷

Loved our first experience! The food and service were both awesome! We each had 2 specialty cocktails and shared the carrot and raisin salad, the Mac n
Cheese, the Ginger Pork, and the Cuban Corn. My favorite was the Ginger Pork and the Mac N Cheese! 3 bartenders served us and they were all knowledgeable and kind. We’ll definitely be back.

i loved everything about the fire station! the cocktails were delicious and creative, the food was excellent; the chicken thigh was incredibly crispy, the hummus was homemade and super tasty, and i also really enjoyed the skirt steak and corn. the atmosphere is super cool and the trim on the windows and doors is awesome too.

My husband and I come here for the great atmosphere and delicious food/drinks. The menu has a nice mix of small plate snacks and larger dishes; we especially love their spinach & artichoke dip and yaki pork. We send all our out of town friends to visit here. Thankful for this local gem.

This is a relaxed restaurant with a dark and industrial vibe. The cocktails and food are good, especially the mac ‘n cheese! You have to find your own table and there is no table service, so order at the bar.

This is a cool little place to go and have some lunch, or a nice dinner. You can sit at the bar or at these cool little tables, they even have a big dinning section for larger crowds. The food is really good and they have options for 5$ up to 21$. They have a large variety of cocktails to choose from making this a really fun place to go and visit, its definitely worth the trip to check this place out. One of my favorite things is they use paper straws for their cocktails and they have great fresh fruit for their drinks. We will definitely be coming back to try their macaroni and cheese.

We happened to be in the area & I found CFS on Google Maps. We arrived for a late lunch & we’re delighted to enjoy the yummy Hasselback Potatoes & Cuban Corn. The skirt steak was delicious & the Shrimp Pineapple was very good too! We’ll be back with friends to enjoy this place even more!

Such a great restaurant and bar. The vibe and atmosphere are really nice, relaxed and welcoming in a very cool setting. They have a great food menu, all cooked in a wood fired oven, with a section of food that is $5 each. You can order the whole menu for $99 which is fun to do with a group of friends. Josiah and Zeke are great hosts and are very friendly and welcoming. The cocktails are delicious. This place is a loyal gem in the area. Make sure to check it out.

I cannot emphasize how good the ambience. food and drink are in this establishment. Carly is a talented bartender and can conjure a fantastic blend of tonic to a mixologist level. The Hasselback potatoes are the perfect blend of crispy and dense that you want from a spud, while the cheese board is a great starter. Highly recommended

My fiance and I had an amazing dinner from Cochecton to celebrate our engagement. We were staying at a nearby town and were recommended this restaurant from our host. We were so glad for it - the food was delicious and unique, including a cheese board literally served on plywood and fantastic cocktails. We enjoyed our dinner so much that we had to return for a few more apps to-go. Highly recommend!

This carefully detailed establishment certainly hits the spot with the wood fired menu selection and the mixologist cocktails. A pleasant surprise for the location or anywhere. The propietors have put a lot of thought and care into this establishment and are super friendly. Try everything on the menu and you will not be disappointed. I will certainly be back on my next visit to the vicinity.

So this previous Monday the girlfriend and I decided to go on a drive to Cochecton. I’m pleased to say, what started as a wild hunt for Green Chartreuse for work turned into an incredible time at the Cochecton Fire House. The bartender was super cool and knowledgeable. He looked like he loved his job and knew his way around the bar.

To start, we ordered 2 HOUSE-MADE Sodas which let me say may sound like a small detail, but for me, freshness and house quality is miles above store bought junk. Needless to say the drinks were amazing, i wish i got a cocktail but I didn’t want to drink before riding all the way back home.

The food was excellent, it wasn’t only great tasting, but they were well proportioned and very presentable. The only thing i can say I wasn’t 100% happy with was the wood-fired toasted Rye Bread. It seriously shredded the top of my mouth, but I appreciated the idea of it. Perhaps less time in the oven would’ve helped. Although that wasn’t a deal breaker at all. I’d definitely go again if i were ever in the area again and would recommend the hassleback potatoes, mac & cheese, and spinach & artichoke dip. All was amazing!

Haven't been here since last year. But I absolutely loved this place. Owner and the bartender were very welcoming and I felt right at Home. Will be back shortly!

Came here based on a recommendation from someone in Callicoon, and wasn't disappointed at all. We didn't have the food, but the 3 drinks we tried we're perfect. Their house old fashioned might be the best I've tried. I'd definitely come back to try the food (which looked amazing when it came out) and explore the drink menu further.
The owners and bartenders were extremely helpful and friendly.

My favorite restaurant. I love the consistency on the food and drinks! The team is fantastic and the embodiment of great hosts. This is a great hangout spot with a few friends or just fly solo and find someone fun to talk too. In the summer they have outdoor seating. I even had a 40 person farewell drinks event here and they handled it great. Highly recommend a stop. My favorite dishes are the mac & cheese, the rice and the skirt steak!

We loved this find! Limited menu that packs a punch with flavor and upscale flair. Would recommend for anyone in the area or traveling through. Outdoor seating in the summer is dog friendly!
