Sweetwater Coffee

Loved our first visit here. The cookies are amazing, the vanilla breve was on point, the ambiance has a lovely vintage charm, and the owner was friendly and shared a lot about her place. She even sent us on our trip with one of Sweetwater’s signature cookies. It’s “where friends meet” and we loved it.

Everythimg about Sweetwater is aesthetic.

I love the high ceilings and the industrial minimalism interior. Simple yet distinctive menu.
Not sure why but I think their water tastes soooo good!
They have indoor and outdoor seating and as well as takeout.
Very cute and fun atmosphere for a brunch with friends or to study for your next exam.

Swinging through town we stopped here for an Americano. Great space with lots of character! Beautiful exposed brick and lots of reclaimed wood. A very warm comfortable space! I love the random unique pieces of furniture all throughout.. high back leather chairs, mid century modern couches, antique dining tables and chairs, funky art work, a great Montana book selection.
They also have delicious menu options.

I had a wonderful experience here! The barista took my order while I was in line, which was very appreciated! The food was delicious, and the coffee was top notch. I would recommend the Sammy and the Latte.

Congenial, attentive and friendly folks. A superior cup of cocoa! A person could spend the occasional entire day here and be welcome. In fact, we just have. May 4, 2018, Black Friday. I stopped in for a quick end of the day, end of the week cuppa. The workers were infectiously cheerful and made wonderfully tasty, customized cups of coffee. Truly a grand place. The staff of the Sweetwater on Black Friday. May the fourth be with you. September 4. Tuesday afternoon. A beautiful song from the Moody Blues, as well as a beautiful latte. Life seldom gets better.
Covid19 addendum .... Sweetwater Coffee is the safest place for a coffee or meal in Dillon. September, 2021. Except for some new faces among the staff, nothing has changed. Happy people, great cocoa, great coffee’s, and great food.

What a super sweeet find! They have delicious sandos, snacks, and salads as well as their excellent coffee. So glad I found this place :)

If ever in Dillon, you need to stop by Sweatwater Coffee and sample their wares. The environment is warm and inviting, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and most of all the food is delicious. The Coffee drinks are prepared with care and precision, and baristas can customize as you need. My wife has various food allergies, so the chef worked some menu item ingredients so she could enjoy them. Don’t forget a couple giant sugar cookies for the road!

Lovely space. Delicious espresso and a very yummy Monte Cristo. Staff is wonderful.

Clean, artfully decorated, and welcoming interior, although the teeny-bopper pop music was incongruous with the rest of the vibe. Staff were a little frantic, but friendly enough. I will say that this place is not for the lover of American style artisanal coffee. They have only dark espresso beans and no drip or pour over. They do have a lighter roast cold brew. To be fair, most Montanans would consider me a pretentious, over-fussy, dainty metro-nerd, so my tastes may not be indicative of what will sell in Dillon. I’m certainly not going to bring down this places’ star rating, but be aware that if you prefer medium to light roast drip or pour over coffee, this is not your place.

Amazing service! They accommodated us last minute for a large group and were happy while doing it. Highly recommend. We will use no one else in town for lunches going forward, but don't worry, guys, we'll plan ahead better next time!

What a treasure to stumble upon!

This coffee shop had a great cold brew and the service was outstanding; kind, warm, friendly, and welcoming.

As an out of town-er — that was so nice to have. If I ever find myself back in Dillon, this will be my first stop.

Who ever gave this place a 1 star or less than 4 stars is a pure karen who probably beats her husband too. This place is so authentic and delicious, sandwiches are amazing and tasty and the drinks are more than great. The atmosphere is inviting for everyone! Strongly recommend.

Best espresso and Reuben sandwich I've ever had. The staff are some of the friendliest I've ever met. What a gem of a coffee shop!

Wonderful little coffee shop and lunch restaurant next to the Patagonia outlet. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and the food is wonderful. I got the "Sammy" and it was great. They also have an assortment of cookies. Definitely a good place to stop in Dillon.

We stopped off in route through our 12 hour trip. The coffee and sandwiches were excellent but the owner( I assume) was so kind and friendly that we returned on our way back home. Dillon is added on to our stopover as its a route we take frequently 👌.

Very warm and welcoming. The coffee is wonderful along with the blueberry cranberry scone. Nice comfortable ambience

The only complaint we have about Montana is that the restaurants aren't very good. Until now this will be our regular stop when we head South.

Been there a couple times. Each time it's been pretty busy but that doesn't seem to bother the workers. They got me in and out with great quality drinks. I haven't tried their food yet other than the yummy cookies.. but by what I seen from other people's food I don't think I'd be unsatisfied.

Sweetwater is small on the outside (easy to miss because of tree cover right on the sidewalk) but expansive on the inside. The huge space features a western upscale look with wood floors, ceilings and highlights, and grungy red-brick walls. It's spacious and extremely inviting. I stopped for breakfast after camping just south of Dillon - needing coffee, breakfast and some wifi to help plan my days' travel. Sweetwater delivered generously on all three counts. The coffee (and americano drip) was delicious, the breakfast sandwich was scrumptious, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. A perfect place to spend an hour sipping, browsing and making plans.

Stopped by this coffee shop on the way through the town. Let me just say everything from the service to the atmosphere and especially the coffee are all outstanding. 10/10 would recommend
