Beautiful and cozy lodge near downtown. We had delicious, home-made breakfast pie and huckleberry pancake in the morning.
Most friendly and helpful staff I’ve ever met.

Hidden gem in Whitefish, definitely worth a stay 😍

This is an excellent place to stay in Whitefish! Close to the ski area with friendly staff. Rooms are clean, quiet, comfortable and spacious. The outdoor covered hot tub is a treat. Ample parking. They serve hot cooked breakfast every morning served to your table. In the evening enjoy 2 complimentary glasses of wine or beer in front of the fireplace while playing games. Good value for your money. Would 100% stay here again!

We got married in Glacier National Park in Sept 2023 and stayed here with some of our wedding party. We absolutely loved it here! The log cabin and decor was exactly the aesthetic I was looking for. The staff were all very nice and welcoming!

Worth the money! Complimentary beer/wine upon check in. Room rates include fresh cooked breakfast every morning. This was a booking factor for us so we could spend more time with our friends without having to leave the lodge and try to find somewhere to park and eat without a long wait time.
**also helpful on wedding day as my makeup/hair was from 7am - 10. I was able to have my maid of honor run up and grab me some food and coffee!

Pet friendly! This was a huge plus for us as our dog was part of our wedding. Be sure to bring your own doggy waste bags.

Clean and comfortable! We stayed in the garden suite and it was perfect for us to hang out outside with our friends and our little dog was able to run around and have fun too. We had our own entrance which made it easy for our hair and makeup artists to come in and out without disturbing other guests. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable! The hot tub was clean and the grounds are well cared for. The lodge was completely booked during our stay but we never noticed. The lodge was really quiet and relaxing during our stay.

Location. The lodge is right off of a busy road but we didn’t notice any roadside noise. The trees help block the road from your balcony. 5 minute drive to downtown Whitefish. We ate at Jalisco Cantina and Piggyback BBQ down the road and both were really good! The parking lot can fill up quickly at night. We carpooled with other people so it wasn’t really an issue for us.

We plan on staying here again for our 1 year anniversary this year!

What an incredible experience this place offers. My wife and I first stayed here the weekend we got engaged and it was incredible. We have since been back several times after and have enjoyed every stay we have had. The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is very cozy, breakfast is always amazing, and you can’t beat the happy hour deals. We have now moved back to VA and frequently talk about how much we miss this place.

My wife and I recently visited Glacier Park and were extremely happy with our stay at the Hidden Moose. The rooms are excellent and the breakfasts were top notch. The staff was second to none. The owner was very informative and suggested places to visit and hike. Just a little warning. Tracy is a little sassy but very classy and added to the enjoyment of the stay. Watch out for her, her humor is addicting.

Perfect location for skiing, or downtown. Very reasonable price for this area, clean rooms, 1 free drink per night, and pet friendly! What more could you ask for.

We celebrated a birthday here and it was a lovely surprise to get a gift in our room. Hidden Moose has a wonderful style and atmosphere. The staff were so friendly, efficient and professional. Rooms were super comfortable as was the huge king-size bed. We enjoyed both the warm fire in the sitting area as well as the warm hot tub outside. Always a thrill to soak outdoors when there is snow on the ground. Food and wine also get a 5 star.

We loved our stay at Hidden moose lodge. Very clean, the beds were unbelievably comfy, the breakfast was amazing and the complimentary glass of wine in the evening was a nice touch. The staff was so helpful and friendly. We will for sure be back.

We stayed for part of our honeymoon visiting glacier. Hidden moose was wonderful, the staff is wonderful, breakfast is delicious and happy hour just tops it off as perfect. We hope to return in the future and highly recommend hidden moose for your whitefish stay

This family owned Inn is uniquely wonderful. We keep coming back and bringing friends and family. One of the main reasons we love Montana!

We always enjoy staying here during the winter. We normally go around Christmas. They decorate so so so much. It's absolutely gorgeous. The main lounge is straight out of a hallmark movie with a real fire in the fire place, a Christmas tree and a sled to take pictures in. The dinning room is all wood to fit the lodge theme. The rooms are comfortable and cozy with individual balconies to drink coffee off of in the morning. Pretty quiet overnight, not a lot of traffic or noticeable noise. They also have dog friendly rooms with easy access to let them out and trails to walk them on. They have a hot tub looking out to the mountain behind them with its own fire place, absolutely beautiful and so relaxing. They also give complimentary drinks to take out to the tub. And breakfast is so so so delicious, home made! Everything about it is my favorite! Being a local from whitefish, I would highly recommend this place. It's very close to down town if you want to bar hop or explore and under 10 minutes away from Big Mountain for skiing/summer activities. We have gone three years in a row and always make time for a mini retreat here. Everything about it is amazing.

A great inn! We enjoyed two nights and two amazing breakfasts! The staff is super friendly and offered a lot of tips and advice for things to do during our stay.

We just returned from our trip to Hidden Moose Lodge and are already planning when we can return. This was our honeymoon and it was truly magical! From the second we drove into the beautifully-decorated lodge to the last bite of gourmet breakfast, the entire trip was full of warm holiday memories, all thanks to Hidden Moose Lodge. The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating- providing ski, dinner, and town recommendations to help make our trip special. The lodge was so cozy and inviting, we enjoyed our afternoons with beer and wine by the fireplace and late evenings with a cup of tea at the chess board. The garden suite was well-decorated, very comfortable, and felt secluded. Thank you Hidden Moose Lodge for making our honeymoon so special.

We were part of a large group here at this lodge, and the hospitality provided from this staff was really top notch. Not only is the breakfast unbelievable at this place, their fire place living room, and outdoor hot tub is really the only place to be here in Whitefish. Rooms were spacious with private balcony and the staff treats you like a family owned B&B. Enjoy!

We had an amazing stay at the lodge! The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was amazing each morning and the lodge was beautiful! We loved sitting on our deck drinking coffee and enjoying the happy hour drinks. We cannot wait to come back! The staff and owners were great!

Hidden Moose is an excellent bed and breakfast to base out of for any adventure throughout the year in the Whitefish area. My wife and I stayed there during the week leading up to our wedding and really enjoyed the hospitality and amenities of the Big Sky Suite. The staff was so nice and helpful for anything we needed and wanted to know more about. I definitely recommend this lodge and we will definitely be coming back in the future.

Came here for a friend's 31st surprise birthday trip. This lodge is very close to downtown if you wanted to take an uber or a longer walk. There are nature trails around the lodge and restaurants within walking distance.

The staff that worked here were extremely nice, very friendly, and helpful for tips on things to do downtown and in general. Each morning breakfast is included and was nice to get up early before the other guests to eat. They also gave you the option of two drinks a night like two light beers or I think wine (we chose beer).

We stayed Thursday through Sunday and enjoyed our stay very much. We did their local Whitefish Lake Boat Cruise which included drinks and a charcuterie board to watch the sunset, and it was really fun.

My wife and I stayed here for a full week during our honeymoon road trip and we could not have asked for a better home away from home nor a better honeymoon experience. The western suite was a near flawless blend of luxury and rustic coziness and we were even generously gifted with a congratulatory card and box of fine chocolate upon our arrival. The breakfast is delicious whatever is served for the day, but make sure that you don’t miss the huckleberry pancakes (and if you’re offered an extra, say yes). Claire and Kyle were excellent hosts and clearly made the extra effort to treat us as more than just customers, but as people to know and converse with and always made sure that we had what we needed (and we were totally spoiled by our complementary glasses of wine each evening). With 6 full days that we spent exploring and adventuring through Glacier National Park, there was no better place to return to lay our heads. God willing, this will not be our last visit to Whitefish and Hidden Moose Lodge will be at the top of our list in places to stay in the future.

My husband and I stayed at the Hidden Moose in June for our babymoon. We were blown away by the instant hospitality that we received. The whole family and staff greeted us every morning at breakfast with honest smiles and a delicious breakfast. Our room was cozy and very clean. Kent talked to us like family and gave us numerous tips on the area. Claire offered all the advice and places to go around Whitefish and Glacier. We will 100% be back! We can’t say enough positive things about Kent and his whole family and staff!

This is a fine, friendly, well-run lodge - a great home base for a few days exploring Whitefish and the Flathead valley. It’s run by the family who built it, and it shows in the attention paid to every detail of the operation. Home cooked breakfast: check. Great room with crackling fire: check. Daily happy hour: check. Local knowledge and friendly advice: double check. We will definitely be back.
