Craggy Range Bar & Grill

Cool bar with good food. After eating here, I'm surprised about the mixed reviews. The bison patty melt was delicious. So good!! The smokestack burger was good as well. Strange to charge extra for tater tots instead of fries, especially when the fries are better. Huckleberry mojito was great. Our waiter was good too. Zero things to complain about this place.

Greeted by friendly staff, seated in minutes, server started drink order right away. She was attentive without being obnoxious. This was on a busy Trivia Wed night. Yummy drinks, great burgers & lots of choices. Couldn't resist dessert, so "to go" worked perfect. Got home & discovered the delicious looking dessert & the clever, step above "to go" utensils so we HAD to have some bites right away! Not sure why we've missed eating at Craggy Range, but can't wait to go to Whitefish soon for our new favorite eatery & will go earlier to play Trivia. Thanks to everyone!

Cool modern scene. TVs everywhere..... wings were delish. I had an old fashion it was excellent - my favorite was they have this ice tray the length of the bar- you set your drinks on to keep em cold !

Really cool place. Loved the food. Staff is super friendly and tentative. If your looking for a nice place to get good drinks, nice vibe, and great selection of food for everyone I would check them out.

In town helping out a friend for the weekend. Needed a place to grab a bit once I got into town. Craggy's has a nice balance of a bar and restaurant. Sat at the bar. Had the Yard Sale Amber from Tamarack Brewing. Nice amber after a long drive here to Whitefish. Ordered the 406 Queso and the Bison patty melt. Both were so good. Might be back again tomorrow as everything was great. I say that because the have a great selection of bourbon. Not something you normally see here in Montana.

We stepped in to have a drink to raise a glass to one of our dear friends that recently passed. We were lucky enough to have Matt as our guy. He is always on point and we know each other from the past and it's always nice to see a friendly face when out in Whitefish. When in Craggy ask for Matt's section and you will not leave disappointed. Thank you for taking great care of us. We will see you soon!

Great impromptu spot! We are visiting from out of town and stumbled upon Craggy Range Bar & Grill, what a wonderful discovery. Food was awesome, along with our server Andrew. Great atmosphere and plenty of tv’s to watch games. Tried 4 of the 8 libations cocktails and was pleasantly surprised how each was crafted and had a unique flavour, I kept the best for last ; Huck’s Secret. The cherry on top was seeing all the little girls & fathers dressed to impress who stopped in for a bite to eat before the Winter Ball. Would definitely recommend and will be back this summer for sure!

We like Craggy Range. The food is always good and so is the service. I had the Fish and Chips and Tammy had the Ranch Sandwich. Both came out hot and delicious with a huge pile of fries. Lots of televisions around to watch sports too. The place always has a good vibe. Tyner, our waiter is friendly and knowledgeable.

Why hello, I'm a resident of Mt and I've had my share of restaurants and food joints. I have to say this was theee best place I've ever eaten at. I've been to famous daves and Montana club, but this beats all. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, I don't like coleslaw but theirs is so good. My mother got the bison burger and it was juicy and handmade. There salsa guacamole and queso were so good. The lighting is a great mood it's chill and layed back, comfortable and a beautiful place. I don't come to whitefish very much but golly I'll start coming here more.

Experience was good. Their patio was closed because of air quality (West coast fires 09/2020).

We had 9 people, and they typically do not take reservations for less than 10 people, but they graciously allowed us to make reservations, which we really appreciated. The food was good and the service was great.

Good spot for drinks and a bite to eat. Had the sliders. The staff was conscientious of my dairy allergy and accommodated me with some great options. Beer was a fair price. The TVs are a nice touch and there's also a pool table. Place recently got a remodel and the open air atmosphere is great.

Came in for Bloody Marys and stayed for lunch! Everything was good. Loved the sauce flight. Poblano honey sauce and soy ginger were our favorites. Brussel sprouts weren't quite done but still really good. Mac n cheese was delicious! Annie was an amazing server! Food came out fast and she was very sweet to us.

Pretty decent place for a family dinner. I'm always surprised at the costs ..5 bucks a beer? Then I go ua that's how we stay sober ha ha ! Just loud enough to be a bar / lounge and just quiet enough that we didn't have to yell across the table.. I'll give it a 10 cause the waitresses were very nice and cute!

Service was great. The wait staff was very friendly and courteous. We had our Huckleberry drinks, which were very tasty. I got the Spring Roll Bowl and it was delicious. The rest of the family got the Pho Bowls and loved those. Definitely would go back next time we are in Whitefish.

I'm not much of a bar guy anymore, but as what I could see it was done well with a touch of class, not too loud, but everyone was having a good time that I could see, plenty of big screen TVs to watch numerous games on, and the food was my favorite by far, the Club Egg rolls are to die for, and lastly the Fish and Chips are extavky what they said they were, LEGENDARY.

Great location, hey even had the Stanley Cup one night. Excellent place to have a beer and watch a game. They're very accommodating to put a specific game on a nearby screen.

This is a bar and grill. It is a very clean bar and grill with a great atmosphere. It is an ideal place for friends or family to dine. Their menu is excellent. I have had their catfish and their french dip. They have their own take on it and you can tell that they have a really good chief. The food is excellent. Every time I go there I try something different and I have never been disappointed. It is a bar and grill that popular with the locals as well as the tourists.

Update 11/10/2016. They have recently remodeled. They have changes their menu a bit. They still have very good food, but I miss some of the items that was on their old menu. The remodel make the place a lot brighter and open and inviting.

I'm giving them all 5 stars. I thought the staff was excellent, and my food was excellent as well. The clam chowder was superb, and the burger was top-notch. I will definitely be going back to try more of the menu.

The food and service were amazing! The burger with the pulled pork and bacon on the burger patty is super good. Side note the bathroom sink was cool.
