The Pine Lodge on Whitefish River, Ascend Hotel Collection

Stay here and you won’t be disappointed! Easy check in and they provided a little gift bag as a thank you for staying! The property was clean and well maintained. We opted for a suite for only about $20 more. I’m so glad we did! The room had a room with a sitting area and then a separate room for the king size bed and jacuzzi jet tub. Breakfast was good each morning with lots of variety. And how can I forget about this view right from our balcony?! Outdoor pool and hot tub were excellent and they also have a neat little games room called “The Den” with pool table, shuffle board and big screen tv!

This hotel is AMAZING. The staff is so kind and caring, they gave us a welcome bag and upgraded our room the moment we arrived for a balcony. My boyfriend and I came for our anniversary, and it was wonderful. They provided sticks for us to make s’mores and lit the fire pit. 5 stars! The views were beautiful, the pool and hot tub were clean. Will stay here again in the future!

My sister's wedding was at Glacier National Park in October 2023- this is where we stayed. It was an excellent choice for both families. The rooms were great- I had a balcony room (I do wish there was a smidge more privacy between balconies but outside of that they were nice). The amenities were excellent- there's an indoor/outdoor heated pool. It was very cold when we were there so the pool wasn't super warm but it wasn't freezing either and the kids and adults really enjoyed it. They also have an outdoor hot tub and a game room where we spent a lot of time! I utilized their laundry room which was perfect for our stay. They have a nice breakfast set up as well- typically with warm biscuits, eggs, meat and then yogurt cereal etc.. Tanner N- the office manager- was excellent in accommodating our family's varying dates and needs. All the staff were wonderful. Highly recommend. It is a close drive to downtown whitefish, probably a 10-15 min drive to the major shopping area and less than 20 mins to the airport.

Excellent friendly staff, everything super clean. Warm cookies in the evening, hot chocolate, welcome gift bag all made it feel like home. You can definitely see that all the workers take pride in their work and the hotel. Great view and trail right out back. Hot tub was hot and clean too! Not much to the gym tho so as long as you aren’t planning to work out there it’s perfect!

Very convenient and reasonably priced lodging for easy access to the Whitefish Mountain Resort as well as other notable attractions in the area. Indoor/outdoor pool that’s connected which is cool and a clean hot tub to soak rusty bones in after an exhausting day on the slopes. A really cool recreation room with shuffleboard and a pool table. Has plenty of room at the front area for storage of snow gear, boards and skis. Morning breakfast is good. Waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs and bacon just about every day.

We spoke to the general manager Brie Okerberg and she was just the nicest person ever! She was so helpful and answered all of our questions! She was also so nice to recommend things to do in and around Whitefish. We will definitely be back because of the awesome hospitality!!

This hotel is fantastic. The staff is incredibly friendly. Only a 10 minute walk to restaurants and shops in town. The hotel provided an airport transfer and also a lift to the mountain each day for skiing. Also right off the free SNOW bus stop. 100% recommend and plan to return again when we come back to Whitefish!

If you’re looking for a place to stay for skiing or snowboarding… This is it! They have an equipment room with boot dryers, lift tickets at the front desk, a ski bus that leaves at 8am (directly to the hill, no stops), a hottub and pool, great breakfast.
When I checked in I got a wonderful welcome package with a mug, postcards and stickers… Super helpful and friendly staff! I’ll be booking again.

We loved our recent stay here! Awesome location! The staff here is incredible! They go out of their way to be helpful!!! Friendly and kind!!! Breakfast was great too! Real eggs, great bacon & good coffee! We will definitely be back!

Had to decide between 4 stars and 5. The staff make it a 5. Absolutely great people. The location is good, the rooms are nice and clean, the amenities are auperb. Beautiful place in a beautiful town. Bowling alley just down the street. How cool is that. The riverwalk is awesome. Hottub and pool just right. Nice game room area.
My only complaint is the noise from other rooms. It sounded like Bigfoot was staying in the room above me, and the plumbing un the room.next door had me showering with my neighboor. But I will absolutely stay here again.

I always judge a Hotel, motel, holiday inn by their continental breakfast 🧇 🥞 🍳 . Let me say I really thought going in to this thing I could put a dent in their bottom line. Imagine a whole 6am-10am shift of plate after plate of breakfast. They got not one but two waffle makes, an elevator and eggs. Plus hot biscuits and gravy with bacon and skillet potatoes 🥔. I tried it all but tapped out after 3 plates. Don’t like any of that stuff then they have the usual suspects cold milk and cereal, oatmeal for your grandpa and fruit and yogurt for your weird aunt. 10/10 will be back for the breakfast during our next visit.

Great hotel for families. We stayed here over Christmas 2023. The s’mores kits & fire pits, hot chocolate bar, daily cookies, hot breakfast variety, shuttle to and from Amtrack, the Den with games, TV, billards, the awesome pool and hot tub, the accommodating & wonderful staff. Absolutely the place to stay in Whitefish.

From the cookies to the kayaks to the game room, this hotel was prime for our stay. They have a lot of fun activities to keep you busy - should you have to stay in the hotel!
Kayaks & beach cruiser free rental.
Game room & indoor/outdoor pool.
Hot tub.
Workers were all very pleasant & patient with myself & everyone I saw them encounter.

Location is less than 1/2 from all the bars/shops of downtown whitefish & 30 mins to west glacier.

We loved our stay!

We loved our visit here! Good size rooms, very clean! Our "deluxe" room had a balcony right over the river. We got to use the kayaks, we rented e-bikes and rode around Whitefish.
The game room had pool, and shuffle board as well as a nice size TV.
We didn't get to use the pool or hot tub but both looked clean and sparkling.
The front desk team was incredibly nice and very helpful, they even offered to store something for a friend coming to town on Wednesday. I can't wait to return to the Pine Lodge.

Located just south of the vibrant downtown scene in Whitefish, The Pine Lodge offers reasonable priced, high-level accommodations for both the short and long stay travelers. We were here for three nights, and it was a nice fit. The lodge offers a nice heated indoor-outdoor pool, although the indoor portion is pretty small, outdoor hot tub, propane fire pits and cozy deck space, all overlooking the Whitefish River. We were greeted numerous times by deer on the walking paths at the waterfront. Rooms were spacious, and beds very comfortable. Could have used a bit more lighting in the bathroom, but certainly not a deal breaker. Front desk staff was fun and courteous throughout and a pleasure to work with. When back in Whitefish, we will definitely consider staying here again.

Very nice amenities, clean room, great service, and an okay breakfast. Definitely comfortable here for our time at Glacier NP. You rent the electric scoot/bikes for some $, and I didn’t get a chance to ask about the kayaks out back. They have a game room with pool table & a inside to outside pool.
I used award nights and they graciously handled the case after I was charged the daily fee when I shouldn’t be. 👍

Excellent hotel with great amenities. Would stay here 100 times over. My only qualm is with the pillows.

This place was absolutely beautiful and so welcoming. The rooms were clean and bigger than we originally thought. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with quite the selection. They had activity rooms, free laundry, a pool inside and out and a hot tub. We had a very relaxing fun time.
