“Norway Baseball Museum of Iowa”

It was amazing!! The history was awesome. You just couldn't see everything in a short time. The guide was amazing with all the history and knowledge. Love all the stories he shared❣❣ would diffently go back again. But NOT HANDICAP ACCESS!!!

I visited this museum about two years ago and had the time of my life. I wish I had written this review much sooner as I have forgotten a lot of the details. The museum had a sign on the door saying "if we aren't open, call this number and we will come and open up for you". And that's exactly what happened. The gentleman that came was a relative of a couple of major leaguers who played high school ball locally and we talked for the better part of two hours about the extraordinary efforts required to find and restore the trophies and awards earned by Norway High when the school district closed their school and forced the town to attend class in a nearby town. I loved the movie and decided to visit as I was planning to travel cross country on I-80 and Norway was only like 20 miles out of my way. I also want to go to MacFarland, CA, to visit the town featured in the movie, MacFarland, USA, starring Kevin Costner. We should all celebrate the greatness that people achieve which is based on community and teamwork and love rather than wealth and power.

I love the Baseball Museum. Baseball and Norway is like salt and pepper on a cheese omellette with a side of country fried potatoes. I hope to visit some day.

Loved going back into history and even meeting a Norway baseball hero!!!

Went to see. The museum. Liked this place. It is run by volunteers and seem to keep it clean.
