Best Rest Inn & Suites

The staff took such good care of our family during our stay. The service was excellent. This is not one of those places that make you feel like you’re an inconvenience. Rooms are clean and comfortable. There are updates in place after a remodel with more on the way. Delicious fresh breakfast. Awesome game room. Clean pool. We’ll be back!

So, this is a small town hotel. It’s not a resort. This is where you stay when you’re traveling, not vacationing. Under that lens, the place was fantastic. Rooms were very clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was good. If you’re expecting a Vegas style 5 star resort you’re going to be disappointed but if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay, this is it.

I wish I could reply directly to reviews but the jackass that dinged them because it faces the road. Seriously?
1. That road has been there quite a long time. It was there when you chose your hotel. It’s a motel along the highway. Would you expect them to close the road for your stay?

2. Cell service? As if that’s any fault of the establishment itself. Should the lady working the front desk go erect a tower for you? I have T-Mobile. I’m currently sitting in a room facing the road and I have 5G. Perhaps you need a new phone? Oh, and a new perspective on life.

Thank you to Ms. Laura. She kept me company when I would go downstairs for some fresh air. And when I was having trouble breathing in the middle of the night, she would always offer to make me coffee, because I told her I use coffee in substitution of albuteral. She was very sweet and caring. Thanks again Laura!

Had a great time with the whole family here. Service was friendly the pool W as nice and the kids loved the game room with tons of free games to play including a pool table and table tennis. Only downside was there internet barley worked. Reminded me of dial up days. Plus for some reason our phones didn't have very good signal there either. But it was kinda nice just finding something on TV and watching that. A blast from the past if you will LOL 😂. Yes we will stay there again.

Overall a very good experience and friendly staff. They know customer service. A good facility that is clean. As a business traveler it is hard to find good accommodations in rural areas. This hotel goes above and beyond. The property as well as the rooms were clean and there were no indications of bed bugs in any part of the hotel that I was in. Adding this hotel as one of my ‘favorites’ when I travel to this part of Iowa. Keep up the good work!!

Place is a little dated but really clean. Enjoyed my stay. A couple times I was waited for front desk for a few minutes for a worker. Wish they had a bell you can ring or something.

I have stayed at best rest now almost 4 months for work. Awesome people clean nice the staff is amazing shout out to Janice Dawn Anthony and Laura great folks wonderfull place to stay. I feel like family. Also as a food Inspector this place is spotless. Breakfast is amazing. Thanks West Union crew. Your awesome.

My whole family loved every second of our stay!
We'll definitely be returning! The rooms were extremely clean and well laid out. It was quite, no issues with Staff/ other guests- or anything for that matter!! The pool was lovely & the game room was awesome!! We had a Blast, I Guarantee you will too!

Good place, they need to feather dust the bed frames, the shower was amazing and the water actually hits your body instead of being so wide it misses you.

Staff is friendly rooms are very clean the entire hotel smells great. The breakfast is fantastic. I'll definitely stay there again. Highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay. Was in town for a family reunilon, stayed four nights. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were tidy, nice shower, and had wifi. Nice little breakfast and very clean indoor pool. Would stay there again, and I recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you, Best Rest Inn and Suites.

Very nice place to stay, Only thing they need to fix is the pass key system to get in to the room had to have the key card reprogrammed five time to get in to room. But over all great staff good breakfast and clean rooms. Will be staying again my next trip.

The staff was very personable and welcoming. The room was very clean and the kitchenette was a great surprise. We look forward to staying there again.

I have never stayed at a Best Rest Inn & Suites nor will I. That's why I give 4 stars it's a no brainer, thank you Best Rest Inn & Suites for the most professional and on the spot experience I never had.

Nice people, clean rooms, clean place, good free breakfast good, we have traveled a lot stay in a lot of hotels, this place really give it a 10.
