This store is really cool. They have a bunch of antiques, candles, toys and their own spices and sauces and a little candy shop area. We had to force ourselves out the door 😂

We were passing through Monticello, Iowa yesterday, beautiful Autumn day. Found this gem of a shop! So glad we did! It’s a wonderful mix of old and new, big place!! So many treasures to look at, it’s two floors. Their inventory is incredible, we all did some early Christmas shopping, great selection and variety. Prices are good and the people are so friendly, kind, light hearted and fun environment! Great conversation and incredible customer service down to the details of wrapping up your purchases for travel with great care and thoughtfulness. We will be back again and we live a few hours from there. Wonderful people and neat business. 😊 Thank you Whiffle Tree and staff!

Great place! Something for everyone! Barrels of candy like in the old days. Antiques, comics, novelties. Prices were good and reasonable. Can't wait to bring my grandson for a visit!

Adorable little store. Half antique half hand made new stuff. The candy barrels were fun for the kids. All around it was a beautiful store and we will definitely be coming back. Definitely a place you must stop at when in town.

This shop was a great find when we were in Monticello this weekend. Such a wide variety of items, something for everyone. Had a wonderful time visiting with the owner and will definitely stop again.

Pretty cool place with lots of candy, toys, and other interesting things. Only wish they didn't have a section of mugs with the F word all over them. Kinda makes it uncomfortable bringing my small kids in there. Owners should seriously rethink that section.

This is a well organized, real antique store. They have a large volume of quality furniture and at reasonable prices. The rest of the store is filled with pictures, kitchenware, some glassware and old tools. The $0.25 lye soap in the back of the store really made me smile, it smelled just like what my grandma used to make. The staff was friendly and I look forward to making the almost 5 hour trip back!

An all-around tremendously pleasant antiquing experience! Layout is generous, attitude is unhurried, and there are plenty of finds - and at lovely prices. Staff are kind, courteous, and helpful. Even on the off chance you don’t leave with a treasure, you will certainly leave happier than when you arrived.

This was a very nice antique store! Found a few antiques along with a few novelty items for the grandkids. Owner was very nice as well!

Very nice store. Organized and clean. Nice variety of items from antiques and vintage toys and furniture. Also a great variety of nostalgic candy , jams and food items.Owners are friendly and helpful.
