I requested my food a specific way and they did it no question asked. It's biscuits with hashbrowns and eggs and bacon then the gravy.

Really wonderful food, excellent service. Enjoyed thoroughly.

First off, the food is nothing short of greatness! Absolutely perfect ,I had the patty melt (stormie's version) with fries and it was so good. Tons of mouthwatering flavor in the beef patty itself. Not to mention the staff working was the absolute sweetest to me while they waited on me. I definitely will be a repeat customer. I simply can't get enough of this place.

Good food and service, reasonably priced

My family stopped here after a pretty long morning of hiking and boy was it delicious! We all ordered sandwiches/burgers. My oldest son who is a big fan of bacon cheeseburgers loved their western burger. My youngest who just likes a plain burger said it was the best he's ever had. I asked the waitress what is her favorite and was so very pleased with what I got; a patty melt with steak seasoning instead of burger. We will definitely stop at this establishment again when in the area... Perhaps even make a special trip!

Oh, and their fries were amazing!

Went there on Friday for the cod fish, was not disappointed. Nice tender white fish lightly bread and deep fried. Was delicious! Service was great 👍. Went with a party of 8 and waited only 30 minutes for food to arrive. Ordered appetizers too, wait time for them 10 minutes. Highly recommend this place.

If you are looking for the quintesental small town diner, look no farther. The food is quick and very good and service is friendly. Portions are just right and after many visits I've never left hungry or dissatisfied. If you're a local you'll likely see someone you know, if you're not you might meet a new friend. Located near the Wapsi park and penitentiary this place this the place to grab a meal to fuel up for some major touristing!

On the way to Galena, IL my fiancee and I were looking for a filling breakfast and settled on Larry's Place. The place is unassuming. Your usual fare is offered. I had the 4 egg omelette and it was very good and the hash browns we're perfectly cooked. My fiancee had a skillet and said it was the best she ever had. No hyperbole. If you are looking for good food, fast and friendly service this is definitely the place.

We had a large crowd and only one waitress. SHE DID OUTSTANDING!!! The meal came a LOT faster than anyone thought and was delicious. Every person involved should be proud of their own skills.

I came in at 11AM. The greeter was very quick and friendly.

My server, Bree, was terrific. Fast, friendly, regularly checked up on me and was cute as a button.

I ordered the Beer Battered Cod with hashbrowns. The food was excellent, hot and exactly what I was hoping.

I would recommend Larry's place to anyone.
