Hale Tap & Supper Club

Well worth the hour drive.
First time going there this evening.
Parking was a non issue for us, got there just after 5pm, we left around 6pm, parking lot was filling up, but it is a pretty large parking lot.
Our server was lovely, very sweet and attentive enough and knowledgeable.
Food was scrumptious, we ordered the 5 appetizer, for 4 of us, we were quite full after that.
My son and I ordered dinners (all you can eat Alaskan Walleye & Broasted Chicken)so we got the salad bar, quite nice, with a lot of choices - the beef and veg soup was very good, not impressed with the bread rolls though.
Daughter and husband ordered the gutbuster - HUGE - massive, neither could finish, husband made his a platter.
Prices were great, with tax it was around $87 (not including the tip we left) for 4 people with largest appetizers, and 4 full to-go boxes! We find this to be very reasonable, especially for how good the food was and portion sizes
Very impressed with this teeny spot on the map, I see now how they have won awards!
Will definitely make the hour long drive again, hopefully not through storms next time 😉

Hale tab and supper club is the restaurant that I like to go to. They have really good food and very nice service.
On Friday night and Saturday night they have a fantastic salad bar that comes with the meal.
Mondays they are closed.
Tuesday is hot roast beef sandwiches.
Wednesday is barbecue ribs
Thursday is tacos.
Friday is all you can eat walleye.
Saturday is prime rib.
Sunday is roast chicken and shrimp.
They also have a menu that you can order off of.
The town of hale is fairly small you can go through it In about 20 seconds so slow down the restaurant is on the right side of the road
if you’re going west. They open at 11 o’clock. Daily specials do not start until 4 o’clock.
Sunday hours are from 4 o’clock to 8 o’clock.

AMAZING SPOT! Worth driving out of your way (not that there are too many other options around). Tons of seating, great for big groups. This place is not trying to be anything fancy—just good food for good prices. It’s not every restaurant that serves ranch in a ketchup bottle at the table! Go on Tuesdays for the Hot Beef Special. Say Hello to the locals, Al and Victor for us!

Great food!! Ribeye or Broasted Chicken are great choices.

Wonderful small town supper club. Just had a superb Valentine's dinner there. Well worth the drive. Can't wait to return.

The all you can eat Walleye on Friday night is well worth my 60 minute drive. Includes choice of potato & salad bar. Had it 1/2 dozen times at least & never had to wait to be seated. LOTS of seating. Quick service for seconds (or more but I can't eat that much 😅)
Most importantly, Walleye is always on point!

A very nice restaurant and bar. Super friendly staff as well as patrons. I eat hardely and i was stuffed with the special, which was a giant tenderloin and i had fries which i couldnt finish. Money well spent in my book. Very relaxed atmosphere, actually ran into a cpl friends. This place has always had an excellent rep. Which is well deserved in my opinion.

The halltop great service amazing atmosphere. They have two different sides you can eat at great food you’re missing out if you haven’t gone here.

Went there for supper Saturday night. Had the prime rib which was very good. Good salad bar and pleasant atmosphere. Want to try there fish fry on Friday night. Always up for an all you can eat fish fry!

Great, Great, Great. We met up with some friends on the fish fry night, and everyone who ordered the fish were pleased. I ordered from the menu because I don't like seafood and it was really good!

This country supper club is THE BEST you will find for PRICE, Quality, and service. Simple surroundings reflect the absolute great experience you will have there for a really GOOD prime rib or Alaskan walleye Saturday night!! Always more than worth the pleasant country drive!

Always amazing food. If you don't try their prime rib once in your life, you haven't lived. Get there early (before 530) or make reservations on the weekends

It's a long drive from CR but well worth it!

Had 4PM reservation for New Years Eve. Food was great, service was "top notch" & atmosphere was abuzz. Was in vehicle headed back home at 4:45PM. Awesome!!

We drove about an hour to get here. Love their food! Steak and prime rib were excellent..came with the salad bar which was awesome. Very fresh and clean with quite a few options on it. Macaroni salad, pea salad, potatoe salad, cottage cheese, peaches, pudding, soup, salad and rolls plus more. Service was ify, friendly just very preoccupied talking and eating so we sat a bit before she acknowledged us, Never checked back after dropping off food but fortunately for us the food itself was outstanding so that made up for it. Fair prices on food and drinks. Nice drive on a weekend. Definitely a good place to check out.
