This place is awesome for Equestrian Trail Rides. The trails were all well kept and very neat scenery. Have obstacles to work with your horses. The camping area setup on the equestrian side is very neat. Offer stalls and plenty of space to park truck and trailer if your there to camp or there for the day pass. Camping and daily passes all seem very reasonable and everything is very well kept. Will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend to all!!

We've been picnicking here since I was a child in the 1980s. Honestly, it's not like it used to be. The trees are an improvement, it used to have no windbreak and the wind was terroble, haha! Though, now the playground equipment really needs redone, and it would be great if someday the bathrooms were updated (they're the hole in the floor type), BUT if you want a quiet place with a picnic shelter, a water spigot, nearby bathroom, and BBQ, it's perfect.

It was so nice me and my dad were reeling them in all the time we would cast out and in 30 seconds we would have a fish best place to fish.

Awesome place to stay. No dump is inconvenient for rv. Beautiful and quiet. Love the birds. Wish we could stay longer. Back when we can.

Hard fishing from the shoreline due to grass but the grass makes great fish cover! Great time catching!

Good quiet place to ride horses, good place to park horse trailer tie up horses. Nice little obstacle course to work horses through.

Did a Back Country Horseman SW Iowa Chapter trail widening project on a new trail, had a great time with people I really like!
