Fantastic site honoring veterans. Definitely worth the trip. Very large and covers many eras of veterans, with more coming. Easy to walk, places to rest and reflect as you want.

I was amazed by this place spotless and you can actually feel the sacrifices.
Touching the names on the wall makes your heart race. We owe everything to those who give their lives so we don't have to sacrifice all the things we love.

Awesome! What a great tribute to our American service people. My husband and I stumbled onto this place today. It was truly one of the most impressive memorials we have ever seen. Any person who appreciates our military should see this exhibit!

This place is a must see. It's still in the building stage but it well worth the time to stop. It's peaceful and very tranquil. There are 21 white crosses to soldiers that are centered between walking paths. The monuments of the different soldiers are breath taking. It's peaceful and very interesting.

Leaving Ottumwa, Iowa just outside Albia, I just happen to look over on the highway and spot this monument. How beautiful. Such an amazing tribute to our soldiers and those who work hard to keep us safe.

I had heard of this memorial down in Albia, Iowa the past few years and was able to finally get down there and visit it, on Memorial Day.
What I found was an incredible roadside park truly devoted to welcoming Iowa's veterans.
As a Marine seeing the Iwo Jima flagraising statue right as I walked up setting a good beginning for me.
I'm looking forward to seeing how this Memorial will grow and improve in the coming years.

Free admission is always a plus, but even if there was a nominal charge, this place is a wonderful tribute to both deceased and living Veterans. The park is well thought out and the tributes are beautiful. The park is a work in progress with additional monuments to be added in the future.

The memorial is also fabulous to visit at nighttime when the various exhibits are illuminated.

A highly recommended stop regardless of the time of day!

Absolutely beautiful memorial, well above and beyond my expectations. Looking forward to visiting in the future as it grows! Took my Korean war veteran Grandfather who very much enjoyed it! Found several of his cousins on the memorial wall.

The entire grounds are beautiful. Among the memorials, this Iwo Jima sculpture is the first I've had the honor to visit in person as my Father Louis Cortesio was a young Marine in that battle and could see the flags from his position.. Thank you for making this memorial.

Welcome Home Soldier is beautiful, serene and a great tribute to the Military. It's immaculately kept and the plants and grass are beautiful. The bronze statues are large and well done . The bugler PLAYS revelle at 8 AM daily and Taps at 5 every evening . The flags waving in the breeze make it so nice. If you travel on hwy 34 you have to stop and see the memorial created by a very small town to honor our military .
Very impressed .

A sobering memorial to our veterans. Found our son's name on The Wall and several classmates. If traveling, you don't want to miss this beautifully landscaped tribute to all service branches. Have yet to get there to hear the Bugle Boy. Hint, there's a painted rock next to a bronze boot.
