Pichler's Chicken Annies

Appears unassuming from the outside, but the food is wonderful. The chicken is juicy, and everything is so flavorful. I highly recommend the baked beans, as they have this lovely smokey flavor. The mashed potatoes and gravy were tasty, and the onion rings were hot and crisp.

This place was awesome best fried chicken I’ve had in a long time. The service was the best I’d ever had at a restaurant. My drink never got under half and the waitress had several tables and a large group.

One of two local iconic chicken dinner restaurants in southeast Kansas that I find really comparable to each other in excellent quality. Perhaps fighting words, but I enjoyed my giblets dinner. This visit was just after opening at 4 pm. Good service. Good food. Good prices. I’d visit any time.

Trip down memory lane. Worked here for spring break $$ 40 years ago. So good. Rings chicken hearts. Potato salad and slaw. All still so good! Even better than we remembered (bread too)

Best tasting fried chicken in Southeast Kansas! Wishbones will satisfy white meat chicken lovers, but my favorites are the wings and backs! Must have slaw and potato salad and onion rings @ every visit. For something different, order the hearts or chicken livers for the table with a side of gravy!

Quick trip back to where I grew up and Chicken Annie's is always a must for the weekend. Must get the onion rings. You can thank me later. It's a never missed moment.

Love love love, their chicken! I always order extra so I have leftovers all week. Nothing better than cold fried chicken!

All I can say is everything is fantastic the service is wonderful the atmosphere is fantastic the food is delicious and you get a lot of it for a great price. There's a reason it's been around for a long time it's a good time with great food.

Delicious food and great service! Every single thing was so good! Beer available as well. Try their potato salad and coleslaw, it is unique but will definitely leave you more. Wish our kids would have been there to enjoy it with us!

Amazing as always. You can’t beat fried chicken in Southeast Kansas. Wishbone dinner with German potato salad and slaw has got to be one of the best meals ever. And don’t forget the onion rings and white bread. Every time I am in Pittsburg, I stop in for chicken.

Got to be one of the best Fried Chicken spots in the country. I got the Wishbone Dinner and the meat was impossibly juicy for fried chicken. If you are a fried chicken person, you must find a way to stop here. PS... any time a fried chicken joint has been in business since before WWII, you can bet they know what they are doing.

I arranged a buffet dinner for 30 people after a funeral. I was only able to give 3 days notice and they told me that they had another large group coming at the same time. They did a wonderful job! The room was set up when we arrived which also happened to be their regular opening time. The drink orders were taken and the food was placed buffet style. Everything was delicious, hot and plentiful. Dishes were replaced as needed and drinks were refilled. I have no complaints. They could not have done a better job. This was one of my Mother's favorite restaurants. We have been eating here since they opened and at the original Chicken Annie's, too. They never fail to have good food and good service for a very reasonable price.

The chicken seems like it is cooked to order, very good and fresh. I love those onion rings. We always get pieces of chicken that are good size. The staff is always very nice and helpful. This is our go to place to eat out every weekend.
