Home-cooking at its best! I highly recommend the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes! The margarita was good too - my kids loved their meals - spaghetti and the chicken Alfredo. This place is always a stop on our way back to Kansas to visit family.

I recently dined at this restaurant and I must say that the environment was absolutely great! The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect place for a relaxing meal. But the real star of the show was the food. It was fantastic!

I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, and I must say that it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The spice level was just right, providing a nice kick without being too overwhelming. My wife had the chicken fried steak and she loved it too. The dish was cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior and tender, juicy meat inside.

Despite the restaurant being busy, the waitress was equally nice and quick at getting the food out to us. She was friendly and attentive, making our dining experience all the more enjoyable.

Overall, we were extremely impressed with the high quality of food and service at this restaurant. We are already planning our next visit to try out some more of their delicious offerings. If you are looking for a great place to dine with excellent food and service, this is the place for you!

Just moved into the area and wanted to try a local restaurant so my family and I slipped in for lunch. The food was very tasty and we were all very satisfied with our meals. The prices were reasonable and portions were hefty. Will definitely be back!

So good. Very impressed with the lunch menu and portions and cost! This may be the go to spot for our yearly hike! The music was also great! Just what we needed after a freezing hike at Kanopolis Lake.

I'm a Greyhound driver and fast food is something that we are used to I was just tired of fast food and someone recommended M&R grill I came I ate I conquered it was so delicious I had the Parmesan Crusted Alfredo sorry abt the pic I started eating before I took the picture lol.

A grill with plenty of options. Food taste like home cooking. A good selection of beers on tap and in bottles. I like the unique bar decor with beer caps and cool concrete slab as the table top. Large portions. The chicken Alfredo with broccoli was a hit!

Clean restrooms. Ample seating both indoor and outdoor. Staff was very welcoming.

Just a great little bar & grille. Had a Philly & a turkey wrap. Both were GREAT! Crispy fries have a little crunch, as all fries should. Service was fast and efficient. Portions were just right and the food was tasty. Clean & cozy ambience. Prices very reasonable. I would eat there anytime. Highly recommended.

No wonder this place is always crowded! So good!! We went for lunch and it was almost full. The service was still fast and friendly. The food was awesome 👌 👏. They have a full bar and outdoor seating. TV 📺 everywhere so you don't miss a game. Plenty of parking. All burgers can be made with a black bean patty for a vegetarian option.

We were looking at some farmland north of Abilene, Kansas and came back to town for lunch. I like to try the places with the most pickups trucks. The parking lot of full of farm and ranch trucks. We had the luncheon Chicken Fried Steak that comes with a homemade sourdough roll and mashed potatoes. Cost $9.00. It was a huge “luncheon” special. Prepared to perfection. One of the best I have ever had. Well worth the stop and will be back again. Service staff were fantastic.

Great place to stop for yummy cooking. You won't be disappointed.
We split a Winner Winner Chicken dinner. Waitress mentioned we might want the larger version instead of the lunch size. It was just the right amount for us. She was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.
Interior was clean and attractive.

Good food, quick and very fresh. Good service, polite and accurate. The wrap I got was exactly as I'd ordered and everything in it was fresh and tasted great. The place was clean and well maintained. They got me in and back on the road quick with no problems or complaints at all.

This is our new favorite restaurant when traveling! The food was absolutely delicious, huge menu of choices, lunch specials, and really hard to pick from the many great options! The portions were VERY generous, so we each took half our entree home. Hubby had the Southwest Chicken Wrap with Chips and Salsa from the special $10 lunch menu. I had the Bacon Avocado Chicken Sandwich with a side of Southern Green Beans (delicious!), service was impeccable, and the atmosphere very relaxing. We travel this way often and we WILL be stopping here again. Yum!

No wait. Server guided our choices wisely. I even had a Hawaiian ale. Very good. Pulled pork was everything it should be, with slaw and pickles. Fried pork tenderloin sandwich, fresh cut and fried crispy. No food service patties in this joint! Asked about salad dressings. Any mayo based dressings you could want. Nothing oil based, who would want that?!? I love Midwest food. Embrace the culture! If you want crepes, go back to California! Only real food served here! I will return!

Fantastic food, yummy nachos and chicken BLT was delicious, hands down the best onion rings I've ever had. Awesome servers. Didn't have to wait long for food. This is a quasi hidden in plain sight dinner. For traveler's this is a must stop! And to all the locals, y'all lucky dogs! Brioche bun was flavorful and beautiful! The whole dinning experience was off the charts! 5 star for sure!

Great hamburger and not too far off the highway. The french fries were crispy and not too salty. And, the staff was friendly, courteous, and prompt. We'll definitely keep this place in mind as we pass through the area in the future.

Certainly one of the best meals I've had in my entire life. The steak on my sandwich was seasoned and cooked beautifully, and their homemade onion rings were amazing with the southwest sauce. The restaurant itself is very clean and modern, and all the servers and waitstaff were very friendly. A definite recommend all the way around.
M&R is just off the interstate, and was recommended to me by the clerk at the rest stop. 10/10 would drive across the country to eat here again.

Great food but waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed. Maybe they need to get more help for weekends so the staff isn't so stressed. Food was perfect regardless of being very busy.

Very down home environment. The food was tasty, and wholesome. We were passing through on vacation. We split the "Winner Winner Chicken Dinner" It was hearty, flavorful and more than enough food for two of us. Our waitress was friendly and very courteous

Great food! Definitely our favorite place to eat in Abilene, KS. The staff is friendly, the food is good, and the prices are on point. Wouldn't recommend your first experience to be "to-go" because it's never as good as when you go in and sit down.
