Excellent customer service. Truly light, but decadent crepes. And their coffee and espresso drinks are the best in town. Plus the space is full of natural light and great for working or a coffee or lunch gathering.

Bright and fruity espresso. For you espresso drinkers out there, it’s “new” single origin lighter roast, packed with caffeine. Atmosphere gives this place 5 stars. Super clean and nicely renovated place. A healthy blend of old charm and new technology. Nice and cool place to sit in the afternoon.

I ordered an iced latte and a crepe to go. Very impressed with the biodegradable to go container and the paper straws. They provide almond milk as a milk alternative for your drinks, which i prefer. The latte and the crepe were delicious! Also, the service was very quick, great for take out! I will absolutely return!

Amazing place! Great crepes, atmosphere and gallery. We enjoyed our meal. You can get a real strawberry cream soda! Delicious and friendly! Worth the extra trip of the highway. A must of your going to see Eisenhower's library and childhood home! Abilene is a sweet little town. Personalized gift shop. And an Airbnb upstairs. Check them out for sure.

Absolutely LOVE this little place! Excellent coffee, wonderful crepes! Such a nice surprise to have this very classy, very unique place in a small town in the middle of Kansas! Highly recommend stopping in if you get the chance!

Very neat gallery/gift shop/cafe with a very nice owner. They have lots of cool rocks, gems, jewelry, gift items & offer jewelry making classes. The cafe isn’t currently open but we got Rob, the owner made us a latte to try & it’s excellent. Will definitely return next time we’re in town.

We had the pleasure of eating at the Ortus Cafe tonight for our supper. we got to carry out. we had the three cheese crepe, the Bacon Onion Cheese crepe, the Spinach Bacon Mozzarella crepe. My 5 yr old granddaughter who is a picky eater, ate all of her 3 cheese crepe .Yeah!! What a delicious healthy filling change of food made by an awesome young man. We will return soon. Thank you

A great little gem that brings a taste of home to my new home. Love seeing coffee from Wamego and milk from Junction City. Way to keep things local! Crepes are delicious and the service is fast and super friendly!

What a great cafe! Beautiful spot close to all the places we wanted to visit. A homemade Hibiscus Blackberry tea that is outstanding! The father-son team that owns it was so friendly and helpful. Thank you for a very pleasant stop!!

Stopped here while road tripping, well worth the detour from 70. The owner and chef is from New Orleans which is usually a good sign in the culinary world. Ma femme is French and her crepes can't compete!
The raspberry creme soda was amazing. Plus biodegradable togo containers cups and straws! This qaulity to cost ratio is superb!

The crepes were delicious and although the owners (Rob and Edward Hammatt) are from New Orleans, the taste of the food is similar to any Parisian breakfast spot! Rob Hammatt is friendly and will easily strike up a conversation. We enjoyed the art as well and ended up buying a piece for much less than we would’ve spent in St. Louis (our hometown) or any of the other major cities we have visited. They also have an Airbnb on the second floor for the same price of any Super 8 motel but you get 900 ft.² of old building character! This place is a little gem in a quaint small town that is worth a visit.

I had the Spinach Bacon Mozzarella crepe and it was wonderful, definitely my favorite so far. The Americano was wonderful as well. Thank you for opening in Abilene.

Coffee was fresh and delicious. My wife and I really enjoyed the bacon, spinach, and mozzarella crepe. Simple and quiet atmosphere.

Their savory and sweet crepes are all good. Our favorites are the spinach, bacon, mozzarella crepe and the jam crepe (with homemade jam, especially the peach, blackberry).

Great place for coffee and crepes! Awesome art gallery and cool rocks for sale also! Definitely check this out if you are in Abilene!

Beautiful old restored historic building across from the information center. First class art gallery! Cafe wasn't open so looking forward to a return trip to eat!

A lovely local spot downtown. Crepes are tasty. Simple menu done well.

Just across the street from the visitors center,my husband & I found a warm & inviting shop with coffee & a delicious chocolate muffin- Highly recommend for those wanting to slow down the pace of life.
