Harvest Inn-Oakes

I called last minute for a room and lucked out when I came across this place. The receptionist was pleasant and easy to work with. The rooms were clean and spotless. There is a cute little bar and grill behind the front desk. The pizza was delicious. I will be back the next time I'm in town or close by for wrestling.

Great little hometown hotel. Great room. The little bar is cool. Excellent service. I stay here every time I can. Ask for Smilin' Joe.

My husband stayed for work and said that it was a Very nice hotel, was not expecting the quality and attention to detail in such a small town. Really comfortable and friendly staff. Felt 2 star hotel was low definitely stays a lot of places for his work and this was one of his favorite hotels he has stayed at.

This place is great!!! The rooms are very nice! They were clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The staff was also extremely nice. They were all so sweet and helpful.

Outstanding place to stay for a small town. Despite being short staffed, it was clean and everyone was friendly. Their cute little bar was perfect for our family to gather.

Oh my goodness!! Highly highly recommend this hotel!! Super friendly and clean!!! My oh my how clean!!! Mints on the bed, turn downed. Super comfy beds and attached bar, pizza etc etc. the folks are so wonderfully friendly!! We want to come back soon for a girls weekend!!

The Harvest Inn in Oakes, ND, was very nice. The lobby was clean and attractively decorated. It even smelled clean. Our room was spacious and, again, clean. The pizza from the bar was delicious. The staff are very helpful. We forgot the charging cord for one of the cell phones. The front desk had a box of cords and was able to lend us one that worked for a Samsung phone. Looking forward to staying there again.

My daughter and I spent the weekend down home where I grew up. We stayed at the Harvest Inn in Oakes, ND.
It's one that I would totally recommend if you're traveling through small town USA.

The king rooms do have microwaves, and coffee pots in them as well as mini fridges. The double queen rooms do have the mini fridge but lack the coffee pot and microwave. After speaking with the front desk attendant this morning I found out why.

Spilled coffee and coffee grounds are extremely difficult to clean out of carpeting so the executive decision was made to remove them from the queen rooms.

The motel has 24 hr coffee bar service at the front desk and a usable microwave for all guests..

Over all our experience was totally amazing despite the lack of staffing as was also discussed this morning. Being I grew up in that area the attendant and I were chumming it up like old friends despite not knowing her at all.

North Dakota nice is a real thing and it's contagious.

So if you're thinking about traveling small town USA I highly recommend the Harvest Inn in Oakes.

Also if you happen to be hungry in Oakes go hit up Donna's diner or the North side Eats and treats run by none other than one of the sweetest couples I've ever known. Ed and Linda Huffman are the sweetest people. Tell them I sent you and tell them hi for me.

I hope you get out there and explore the small towns and appreciate the little things like fresh air and huge skies that go for miles. There's just something about the praries of home.

I had to do a job in Oaks and my customer was staying here. The gal that tried helping me wake him up was an amazing help.

This was my second stay here. Nice, clean and current. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. I definitely recommend.

Make sure you grab a bite to eat before you get here only food that is available is bar pizzas in the bar was very delicious though very delicious though very awesome staff thanks for the clean stay
