Edwards County Sheriff

My name is Bryan. I actually had the pleasure of meeting Sherriff Robert J. Blackwell. I am very impressed. He is one good Man. I've been traveling through some rough remote country hitch hiking..He picked me up through an intramural linked law Enforcement Interdepartmental Courtesy Transport to get me to Larned Kansas.
This Man is a true American Sherriff in every sense of the word. As Citizens we need to respect and be grateful we have solid for real Sherriffs such as him to protect our public and people from the evils of the day.
Definitely a Good Man through and through. He sure helped me. Law Enforcement does indeed do a lot of things to help local citizens that many times go unnoticed. I did want to take the time to write this and let Folks know that they have a good Sherriff in Town and I'd be pleased to buy him a couple beers someday at the local pub and wouldnt care who was around. Thumbs up to Sherriff Blackwell.✌

Wonderful experience with the dispatcher and officer I spoke with all the way from Minnesota. They treated me and my issue with a resident of their county with respect & genuine concern.

I've heard much about drug deals being made with the sheriff department here in kinsley for several years now. I believe a good majority of them are involved. And if Sheriff Kurt is unaware of what comes out of all of this I have to ask myself why doesn't he? Bobby carried bags of stuff out while sheriff officers watched him and put the stuff in a trash can.. I have never seen so many KBI agents in one place and those people don't show up for no reason.. And what happened to our 911? Why did Ford county suddenly take that over? There's more going on here than we know.
