Wilson RV Park

I was hesitant to stay since the online image of the sites looked like rutted dirt tracks and I wasn’t sure how level we would be able to get since our jacks were having issues, but when we pulled in, they were gravel sites and we were even more pleasantly surprised to find that our Moho was almost perfectly level without having to put down jacks.

The bathrooms are so adorable and clean!!! Full bath with sink, toilet and a full size shower in each room. Laundry area was also cozy and clean as well.

The owners were so nice to work with. 100% would stay here again.

We were caught in terrible wind on I-70 and needed to get off the road. I was about 30 mins away from Wilson RV park so I called and was able to reserve a loooong pull thru which was perfect for our 43 ft. fifth wheel. Full hook ups, level site, laundry on premises...a short walk (or drive due to the wind) to the grocery store, restaurants, etc. The owners could not have been nicer or more welcoming. We called a couple of times with general questions and they were so helpful and kind. When traveling across Kansas and looking for a convenient, clean, campground with full hook ups and large sites-stop here for sure! This is a great find for overnighting while on the road.

We had originally planned to boondock for the night, but when we had an issue with our generator and it was 96 degrees outside, I looked for an RV campground with hookups in the area and found the Wilson RV Park. I called and Dave was so nice. He set us up in site #1 south which had trees along the west side and provided some shade on a hot evening. For us, this was a perfect campground, it is a nice quiet, clean, and safe place to get a good nights sleep. The site was very level and had a nice picnic table. We did hear two trains in the night, but that didn't bother us at all. We didn't need to use the laundry or shower, but from the outside, like the rest of the park, it looked very clean. The park is a very short walk to the quaint little town of Wilson. Be sure to see ALL of the Czech eggs around town, not just the world's largest one. If you are looking for an RV park with a pool and game room and all kinds of non-camping amenities, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a clean, quiet, safe, and functional RV park to rest, this is a great place. We will definitely stay here again on our upcoming trip next spring. Quiet, safe, no frills and level grass spot to spend night while traveling on I70. 50 amp and water hook up-we did not use sewer or bath house. Site 8 is a long pull thru-did not have to unhook tow car from motor home. Friendly small town and easy to walk. Czech egg a 5 min walk from park. Stopped at Made from Scratch restaurant early morning on our way out to buy kolaches but they had not baked any. Rec calling the day before to preorder.

This place is great. Close to freeway,bathrooms,showers(really clean),washer and dryer, hookups(water,electric, sewer), and wifi. The owners are nice and friendly. I paid more just for electric and water in Colorado. Best part is it's in walking distance of the Czech Egg

Needed a place for the night and found this RV Park. The owners are very nice, very helpful. The showers, restrooms, and laundry were probably the nicest ones we have seen! Close to Lake Wilson.

Great quick stop spot! They had the full hookups - 30/50 amp, water and sewer. We didn’t need the water/sewer this trip. The restroom and laundry area was nice and very clean. The property was well kept too. It was a very basic RV park and was perfect for what we needed. The owner was very nice and gave great instructions.

I wish we had more time to check out the town this trip but we highly recommend as a place to stop for the night. It was easy and comfortable.

I wanted to personally write a review for the owners of this park ! We had quite the day of traveling and really needed a win. They provided excellent customer service and helped out so much. Wishing you guys many years of success ! Stay here, you won’t be disappointed. Lovely people.

Loved it! We are on a family road trip to Colorado and needed a place for the night. We booked this last minute, didn’t get in until midnight but had called to let them know. The owners are both SO nice! They called to let me know exactly where to park and everything, knowing we were running late. The bathrooms and showers were clean too. Def would stay again! Thank you!

Was a great place to camp. The staff was very helpful with direction us where and how to check-in.
Clean restroom and showers also washers and dryers (for a small fee).

We stayed one night after a long day’s drive west on I-80. We reserved by phone, arrived at sunset and paid in the drop box. We had the place to ourselves, it was eerily quiet and peaceful. No problems with hookups or parking, everything worked fine. Rating is based mainly on our phone conversation and the excellent condition of the laundry/restroom/shower building. It was so much nicer than other no-frills places we stayed at on this trip. There is a railroad track nearby, but I suspect it’s very lightly used, we didn’t hear any train traffic.

Summary: Full hookups - 30/50 amp, water and sewer, gravel pull throughs.

Quiet, no frills, calm environment, clean & well kept, easy to work with.

Close to a downtown area with breakfast.

This park is fantastic in so many ways. While there are no frills for kiddos here, there is plenty of wide open space for them to run around and get energy out. The upkeep of this property is fantastic. We have stopped here 5 or so times and every single time it is well kept. They are in the process of building more to this property and have full functionality of all amenities. You can walk to the small downtown area from the site. There is a place for breakfast up the road as well. They do have picnic tables next to the sites for use - bring your own shade.

If you come at night, get your lamplight and flashlights ready for hookups... it is dark out there. I included a picture of the highway at night driving in so you can see how dark it is. It is worth it though. You will be able to see all the stars at night once camped.

Quiet out of the way park. No frills but has all the hookups plus laundry facilities. Flat pull through camping. All size rigs. Owner very friendly and accommodating. We will stay there next time we pass through.

Have you ever stumbled into an old friend and simply just picked up where you left off? Staying at the Wilson RV Park is exactly like that, Dave and Lisa were inviting over the phone as we did not have prearranged reservations and simply looking for a place to land one early after noon. They were helpful getting us situated and setup and the evening was quiet as we strolled around the rv park and the town of Wilson. We highly recommend it for those looking to stop the hectic and noisy world for a calming and inviting reset of basics with a smile.

The best hidden little Rv Park you will come across! The owners were amazing and the sweetest most kindness we’ve had the pleasure of knowing in a while. If you find yourself in Wilson or driving by, stop in for a night or two you won’t regret the stay! Lots of things to see and good places to eat! Everyone in town is just as nice!

Great spot, was a Godsend travelling through Kansas in the cold. Registration was a breeze, facilities were clean and excellent. Very quaint setting, unbelievable starry sky.

Nice site, even after hours the owners were willing to meet us and guide us to our site. Everything needed for hookups was available

This place is small but nice sites are grass There bathroom showers and laundry are nice and clean. Never saw any one that worked there
