The Snack Shack

My friend and I ventured to Wilson, KS, on a mission to purchase an old 9N tractor and decided to explore local dining options. We stumbled upon The Snack Shack, and it truly felt like a hidden gem in the heart of the town. Right from our entrance, we were greeted with a warm, welcoming smile from April, whose friendliness and professionalism were noteworthy. I ordered a cheeseburger, and it was genuinely one of the best I’ve had in quite a long while. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing by or living in Wilson. A delightful experience!

We decided to pay a visit to this diner for lunch while visiting the Largest Czech Egg and Statue of Liberty in city of Wilson.

We were very very pleasantly surprised by the quality of food at this place. Menu is simple but extensive enough to provide different choice of tastes. The price is also extremely reasonable.

Really loved this place for the lunch we had. We tried their Garden Salad with grilled chicken and it tasted GREAT! We also tried the Pork striploin sandwich which was also equally amazing. Kudos to the chef and service staffs too. 10/10!!

The service was great, very friendly. Everything tasted delicious! We had a hamburger, steak sandwich, fried pickles, and fried mushrooms and the fruit whip. Will be coming back!

Spectacular small town diner, with absolutely delicious food. Highly recommend!

Great little low key spot. Burgers taste like they came from an old-school drive-in diner. Ice cream is excellent, and they make a mean chocolate malt. Tots are great, fries are just crinkle cut goodness.

If you're on I-70 in Kansas, plan on a stop in Wilson. Gas station is really close by, and so is the world's largest Czech Egg. They filmed the movie Paper Moon at the Midland Railroad Hotel—all visible from The Snack Shack.

Cute little place with really nice, patient employees and fair prices. Fun stop!

We happened upon this cute little restaurant when stopping to see the Czech egg and we are so glad we did. They were friendly, fast, and delicious. The cost was more than fairly priced and the "Tornado" (blended ice cream & topping of your choice) was delicious! 10/10 would recommend!

My wife and I happened across this place while we were in town. The staff was attentive, pleasant, helpful, motivated and quick! Dining area was exceptionally clean and all napkins and condiments uniform. Kitchen prep surfaces were all polished and clean. Freezers, refrigerators and other drink and food equipment all appear to be regularly wiped down between uses. This place was a breath of fresh air! The missus and I are both critical of dining establishments and thoroughly enjoyed this one.
We ate the Harvester and Dragon burgers with tots and shared a brownie pecan Tornado. We would recommend all of it. I'm sure anything served here would taste like it should.
You guys are doing it right, we'll be back!

Great little burger joint! We all went basic with burgers. Fried pickles were just right and a crowd favorite. We will definitely be stopping by again! Friendly staff and everything was nice a clean.

This is a great little roadside snack stop. Tasty fried food and yummy beverages.

Even though we arrived 20 minutes before closing, they encouraged us to eat in the dining area while they cleaned up. Enjoyed the cheeseburger and fries.

Freshly made, delicious, and friendly service. Make the less than 5 mile detour.

We were hungry, which added the 5th star. Food was delicious. The friendly girl who took our order, patient with our many changes. Cook was willing to dig through the freezer to pull out the last fish, which turned out to be delicious. Real onion rings, YUM! Our icecream for the road, fantastic!

It’s worth the 2 miles off I-70 to stop! Go here and get a yummy sandwich and ice cream.

They are amazing! Great cheap food and their malts are to die for! It's totally worth getting off the freeway to eat here. Really recommend them.

Clean, fast, great taste, ketchup was kept cool and not setting out. Ranch was creamy and delicious, so creamy a breaded mushroom will sit on top and not sink to the bottom, not watered down. Friendly staff. I almost ordered more to take home. They accept Credit cards ( MasterCard, Discover, Visa) No restroom. Hamburger patties are thin about the size of a McDonald's hamburger.

Great fast food! Very nice people to talk to that live in the small town! Go see the Egg!
