Boomers Grill

My wife and I arrived late into town. We found Boomers Grill going on closing time. We went in and noticed the atmosphere. Very welcoming. clean and comfortable. We asked the waitress if we could possibly get something to eat or if the kitchen was closed? She responded with a smile, gave us a menu, and said we could order whatever we wanted. The people were friendly, the staff was fantastic,..the food...well...just go try it!!! I wish we had a BOOMERS in my hometown. Thanks for making us feel welcome!!

Best fried chicken in Kansas! They also do catering fyi.
Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.
Fast service and they make you feel less ke one of the family!

Delicious food. Hometown friendliness and great atmosphere. Beer is cold and fun to hang out. Should definitely try if passing through.

We both Had a patty melt sanwich and diet Pepsi. Delicious and fresh. We sat at the bar where we were surprised to see people we knew. We watched golf and shared the fun with a son who called just as we were finishing our meal
So we hung around for another hour just enjoying the person behind the bar who was cheerfully making drinks for the wait staff to serve, friends, our son on the phone,
And ourselves.

I have only been to Boomers twice and this time was really good. I had the Philly steak and a side salad. The salad was fresh and the sandwich was delicious. I really like the atmosphere as well. It's very welcoming and I could hang out here and watch the game most of the night. Although, since it is a restaurant, they may be frowned upon. We will stop here again next time we are in Holton.

Found this place by chance, it's off highway 75 a couple of blocks, we were amazed at the flavor of the food and really small town service. They have a bar too, but it's not a bar like food it's a restaurant that serves anywhere from steak to salad and soups.
We will definitely be going back next trip it was a nice change from Trails cafe.

Wonderful surprise! Food was well prepared, delicious, and made in- house. Service was over the top...actually felt welcomed and cared about. Next time we drive that direction, it is a must stop.

This was my first time eating there. My friend and I really liked the variety on the menu. The service was quick and the food was hot. And the mashed potatoes were real. Next time we go to Holton we will stop by Boomers. I wish I would have taken pictures.

Wonderful place to eat whether it's appetizers and beer or dinner with cocktails or wine or just plain family time.
Menu is large and the food is terrific. I enjoyed a pork tenderloin sandwich with Fr onion soup while my partner enjoyed a patty melt with delicious homemade chips.
We would definitely recommend to anyone and can't wait to go back.

Worth every penny and then some... Try the Portobello mushrooms and the broasted chicken amazing the best I've had not kidding

We were just driving thru, but pulled up places to eat along the way. This one had great reviews, so we stopped to try it. I'm glad we did! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great! Very clean and updated. I'd definitely go back.

First time stopping here on our way to Prairie Band, it was so good. Will be stopping in next time to have a Bison Burger.

Great atmosphere and the service was excellent! I ordered a Reuben and it was one of the better ones I have had. My wife ordered their summer salad which was excellent. We finished lunch with a piece of Hawaiian pie, fresh and tasty!.

Wonderful bar and grill style restaurant with great food and excellent service. The French onion soup was amazing as was the simple Caeser salad. Chili in bread bowl was good, country fried steak was better. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and vibe.

This is another good place to eat anything from steaks to burgers. It's all good. Service is fun and good. I tried their chille. Man was it spicy, it lit a fire on the tongue, so if you are in to the spicy foods. Try their chille.
