AIR Conditioning

You're was fully stocked with essential travel cooking and utensils.
Bring yourself and egg crafted to go under you sheets you bring. That will give u extra padding.

Great trails 4 light hikers..luke me (walkers).... And Nope.... I ain't doing it.

The only con:
is to make sure that you buy tick spray SPECIFIC and spray down the front door the back of the front door and any of the window sills and the porch area and around your camping chairs and all over your legs and feet

Our stay in Fort Ransom was relaxing and the cabin we stayed in had a comfortable bed, table with two chairs, refrigerator, recliner, cupboard and counter! The heat and air conditioning was an added bonus! Shower house with flush toilets were about a minute away and the outhouse was very near to the cabin! We enjoyed a nice fire in the evening and used the clean picnic table for our meals!

My gal, our three puppers, and I went last weekend. It's a calm place to be with great views of three valleys from different angles. Luckily, we only had a small cockleburr incident. :)

Fantastic camping. Clean showers. All the walking and biking rails you could imagine. Playground was a hit with the kids. Shannon, the Park interpretor was also a joy. I can't say anything bad about fort Ransom. Truly one of the best parks in ND.

Such a nice park. I came out for a hike and ended up doing 11 miles. Decided to come back the next week and tent camp. It was quiet and peaceful. The trails are all pretty well maintained, but some are pretty beat up from horses. I really enjoyed the Pederson trail and also Little Twig. I plan on going back soon to kayak!

We stumbled upon this gem! A lot of culture to learn from this state park. Beautiful views & walking trails. The campground is spacious & clean. They even have a corral campground for horses and livestock which I think is very convenient. Wish the information center was open but we visited in the off season so it’s understandable.

Very nice place to stay and the trails are amazing. The old farm that is original on the park was nice to see. The veiws are just amaing at this park. They have 20.4 miles of trails that can be walked. In the winter they have skiing, cross country skiing, and a big hill to sled, snowboard and ski on with a ski lift to get back up the hill instead of walking. Over all a very very nice place. Id recommend to come here to stay in one of the old houses or yurts.

Fort Ramsom State Park is an absolute gem! We loved every aspect of our stay. The visitor center was clean and newly updated, they offered a wide variety of supplies incase you forget anything at home. We stayed in the cover wagon and the experience was fantastic. The wagon was bigger and better than what I expected. All the rangers and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, our family really enjpyed a the events and tours. My daughter loved the park playground and we all enjoyed the endless well maintained trails to hike! We even checked out North Dakotas only waterfall. We had the most wonderful time! Thank you for sharing this beautiful park.

Tented here over a weekend this summer. Well maintained, nice tenting sites, good facilities and just the right amount of time outside of Fargo. Definitely recommend taking a short drive over to the Sheyenne National Forest and doing the waterfall hike along the North Country Trail, too!

Great little State Park! It's quite a drive from the interstate to get here but in our opinion, well worth it! The sites were amazing, easy pull throughs with electric, very nicely spaced apart, it was quiet, bathrooms were clean, the caretaker was very nice! That night I heard a ton of coyotes very close, it felt like home to us! I would highly recommend if you like peace and quiet when you camp.

Such a beautiful place. The campground was perfect for what we needed. Each spot is spread out do you feel like you are completely alone. So many hiking trails we enjoyed as well as historical features. There was a great playground near our site and we had all the amenities we could need. We will be back!

Great place for a day trip from Fargo. Nice trails and good views. Went in March and it was still nice, just had to hike through some snow. If you go out make sure to stop at the Lunchbox and eat, you won't regret it.

It was fun to discover this terrific state park. They make it easy for people to bring their horses and enjoy the scenic trails. For those who want to experience even more adventure you can rent the cover wagon and spend the night at the park.

Great scenery, beautiful Valley with lots of trees. Wonderful cabin/yurts you can rent and a variety of walking trails throughout, Plus a good chunk of early North Dakota history. Now my 2nd favorite state park.
