El Toro Mexican Restaurant

We had fajitas & enchiladas, they were both very good. They were busy on a Saturday afternoon when we went, but there was no wait. The food came out fast for everyone at our table. Complimentary chips & salsa was good. My bf eats here pretty regularly and says his food has always been good. This was my first time and I'd go back.

Me and my wife go there regularly for the amazing food! Love the staff there as well! Very friendly and they remember you! Always great food and fast service!

The restaurant was wonderful. Very pleasant staff, great atmosphere, and wonderful food. I chose to have enchiladas. They were served south refried beans and rice. It was very delicious.

We were traveling through Wahpeton back to MN and found El Toro. We are so glad we stopped! The restaurant itself is quaint and brightly decorated. The service was so unbelievably fast and friendly. And our food… simply amazing! The complimentary chips and salsa were some of the best we’ve ever had. We couldn’t believe how many selections to choose from on the menu and so reasonably priced. We had chicken chimichangas, beef taquitos, tamale and carne asada. This was some of the best Mexican food we’ve ever had! We will definitely stop when we travel through again.

Hit the spot! Delicious and hot dishes come out quick with friendly service. Clean colorful decor make it a fun place for a quick bite or an evening meal shared over a Dos Equis or margarita.

Delicious as always. They were super busy for a Tuesday night but once we got seated it didn't take long at all to get our food, which was served to us with a smile. Love this place!

First time there EXCELLENT SERVICE FOOD VERY PROFESSIONAL They had a large group come in when they were between shifts and that cook was very impressive just putting out those orders

Awesome for vegans and vegetarian. I ordered burrito which was amazing. My siblings ordered fried ice cream and gluten free Burrito(yes they make one too). Loved their sauce and I told them to make it extra spicy.

If you are looking for authentic, amazing Mexican food, this is definitely the place to go! The quality is superb and the options are endless. If you haven’t tried the fried cheesecake, please do! It doesn’t disappoint! :) Plus they have lots of safe options for the kiddos in case they don’t like or want Mexican food. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant!

Visiting from Minneapolis for the weekend and decided to try this place. The food was so delicious! I’m a chips and salsa addict, and these chips and the salsa were some of the best I’ve ever had. I would have asked them if they sell their salsa but was too shy. The service was fantastic and friendly and it was a great atmosphere for a mom with a busy toddler and infant. Highly recommend this place!
