Cherryvale Park, Big Hill Lake

Very nice park/lake, caper spots were nice and level with some outdoor tables and grill, the park has a small pond off to the side for kids fishing only! Kids loved it! Also a nice swimming beach. A few different parks, will most likely go again!

Great place to take the family for the weekend!!! Very clean. Lots to do.

Very nice place with more amenities than other camp sites

Very nice lake and campground. Great bathrooms and showers. The group in charge of cleaning campsite do a good job but not as good as last year. Lucky to have this facility close to Parsons.

We just spent 3 nights at the Corps of Engineers campground named Cherryvale Park. We were very impressed. It is a little bit of the Ozarks with the rugged hills, tall oak trees and beautiful water. The campsites were spacious and all of them had fire rings, picnic tables, nice landscaping along with the electric, water & sewer connections. The campground was clean and the camp hosts were friendly and helpful. This is a very nice COE facility and we recommend it very highly.

We utilized the group camp site. It has a pavilion and is close to the bath house. There are trails that go down to the water. Our group sites all had electricity, water and sewer hookup! So great to have sewer! There is a playground accross the road for children to play and the shower house is handicap accessible.

Cherryvale Park is amazing to spend a long weekend enjoying the area. The park as several full hook up sites & check this out they run only $20 a night. I Know Right. .Great views of the water &many walking trails.

Love this park. There is usually nobody here so it nice. After the kids play we go.down to the water. There is a bathroom just steps away. Also picnic table, benches and grill area. There is also covered areas that you can rent.

I enjoy the natural elements of nature. Quite and peaceful. Great place to get away and find the inner you.. also a great getaway from part of the world

Stayed one night, but it was a great place to camp. Looked as tho the weekend was going to be full lots of sites where reserved.

Nice park ,lots of trees ,reasonable rates ,beautiful views.

Always a good time! Bathrooms are always clean.I don't like the non flushing toilets though.grosssssss

Camping here. Wonderful amenities. FHU. Using Senior Pass. Very reasonable.
