Crown and Rye

To begin, i would give this meal 10 stars on food if the option was open.
This was absolutely the best meal I've had in a very long time. I had the sausage and potatoes with bacon that was saucy, and savory delightfulness.
For an appetizer, I ordered Reuben egg rolls. The meat was almost minced and the mixture inside was so warm and creamy. It was unexpectedly very good with the egg roll outside adding a crunchy, flakey texture.
The atmosphere was welcoming and kind of like enjoying a meal at home.
I can't wait to go back.

The atmosphere is impressive for such a small town. Food is great and reasonably priced. One of the best places in Lindsbrog to eat.

The food is divine, the service is top notch , definitely recommend eating here for that special occasion meal , or just because you want excellent food. The cocktails are good and the food was the best I have eaten like ever! Lindsburg in general is a great travel destination. They even have a castle nearby at Coronado heights.
The staff is super friendly and they kept the table clear and our drinks full. The food is appealing to the eye and the taste buds, a great variety of music is playing on the speakers.

Food and service were fantastic! Pictures are for the lamb chops with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach, and goat cheese covered in pistachios. The beet salad was also great.

We were traveling and decided to drive through Lindsborg. So glad we tried Crown and Rye. We enjoyed the Swedish meatballs with noodles, the unique beet salad, and the chicken fried steak meal with mashed potatoes and sweet green beans. Very happy to have plenty for leftovers! Our server was very helpful as well!

If you are in Lindsborg, this place is a must try! The menu has plenty of options and everyone will be able to find something. There are also several Swedish options! The decor is so cute and this is a truly unique restaurant!

you know Lindsborg has a hard time supporting restaurants - I think the building that had the swedish crown restaurant has had several incarnations of that restaurant and had various restaurants have come and gone. The staff at the crown and rye is super friendly and accommodating. The food was genuinely good. I am gluten free and they had a whole menu for me. i have to say I ordered the wrong thing - my friend had halibut and it was super good but mine was an over cooked hamburger, and I wish I had followed my instincts and ordered the cabbage rolls or the daily special. try this place out it is worth it and order something interesting.

I enjoyed one of the best meals start to finish I have in a long time. We was warmly welcomed as we walked in. Our waitress got our order promptly and it came out quickly. I started with the Artsoppa (Swedish Yellow Pea Soup) and then had the Värmlandskorv (Potatoe Sauage pan-seared with potatoes, bacon, and onions in butter) with Rödbetssallad (Red beet salad) and Färskpotatis (Creamy Dill Potatoes). My wife had Köttbullar (Swedish Meatballs with egg noodles) and Färskpotatis. The food was top notch, each bit was better than the one before. We ended the meal with Risgrynsgröt (Creamy Vanilla Rice Pudding), it was the perfect end to a most amazing meal. In one visit this has became an instant favorite of mine and I am looking to go back. It is worth the drive and I am sure the great staff will not disappoint. Definitely a must try for anyone that loves classic food done well.

Good food! Husband got the swedish sausage and potatoes and I got the mushroom ravioli! Both were quite good. Nice, friendly staff. We got desert Togo and boy it looks good! Would recommend when in Lindsborg!

Everything we ordered between us (and shared) was delicious, from entrees to drinks and desserts. We really splurged, it was worth it. The service was excellent. Prices are average. A wonderful experience! Highly recommend.

Restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Service was quick and friendly. Eggs Benedict (ham and salmon) and hash browns were delicious. Would eat here again and recommend to others.

Brandi at Crown and Rye catered my 50th wedding anniversary party and did an outstanding job. She helped me think through her menu options for our meal of appetizers, salads and desserts. Brandi went above and beyond in her willingness and ability to include gluten, sugar, and seed oil free options to accommodate all of our guests. It was perfect.

Crown and Rye is one of those places I’ll go out of the way for. Definitely recommend coming in and eating!

The service is always super friendly, and my drink (soda) never went dry.

The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, comfortable temperature, and felt intentional. It was quite evident there is great attention on keeping the restaurant clean as well, like real clean.

Now the food: Oh, it’s good! I have had the meatloaf pie as my main dish when I come and it’s just great. While here we try and split a few dishes, so we can try new things. The lamb is always tender and full of good flavor. Steaks are also quite good, and tender as well. The chili is full of flavor, not greasy, with a hint of spice. The Swedish Meatballs are really good as well, like get some for the table to share; I recommend pairing them with the egg noodles.

Cons: They are not in the city where I live!

Was here last month and honestly this was one of the best meals we had on our whole trip. Had the chicken sandwich with dill potatoes and beet salad and some plate with potato sausage. My only suggestion is more dill/flavor in the potatoes !! Plus our server was so sweet

Place was rich with Swedish vibes. Food was more than amazing with great prices. The cocktails were some of the best i ever had. Lots of comfortable seats and great service.

I drove the 1 1/2 hour drive from my home in Wichita, Kansas to Crown and Rye Restaurant in Linsborg, Kansas for a Swedish dinner. The food was awesome and the service was great. I really enjoyed the food and the environment. I will definitely make the trip again. I strongly recommend eating at Crown and Rye Restaurant. Keep up the good work. May God bless you always!
