Circle C Cafe

A little drive to Paola was well worth it! The service was exceptional and one of the few places that make scratch made gravy! The biscuits were light and buttery and the hash browns rocked!!! Joe and crew are doing great things at Circle C Cafe!!

I was in town for the day and wanted a decent breakfast. I stumbled upon this diner and knew it had to be decent. I walked in and loved the small town feel. I ordered my meal to go (traveling with pups) and patiently waited. My SEC on toast and side of hash browns was cooked fast and tasted exactly how grandma used to make it. I was hoping to try lunch here as well, but didn't make it back in time.

All in all I was very satisfied and hope I can return soon for lunch!

My waitress today put to shame other wait staff I've experienced at fine dining restaurants in the city.

Lillyth was my server and was incredibly attentive to not only my dining experience but to a resturant FULL of other diners.

Great staff, great food! The CheeseSteak is my favorite. It kinda tastes like an old-school fresh White Castle Cheeseburger, not the frozen kind, but Way better. I love the variety of food to choose from and the prices. Highly recommended

We are well traveled and currently on a cross country drive. We stopped here for breakfast based on another review. This is a no frills little restaurant. The food is FANTASTIC! This was easily the best Chicken Fried Steak I’ve ever had anywhere! Everything else was cooked to perfection and as ordered. The biscuits were light and fluffy with a toasty buttery bottom that maintains the flakiness. The sausage gravy is home made here daily and is full of sausage and flavor. Hash browns are fresh and crispy and not at all greasy. Eggs cooked as ordered. We’re here for three more days! Can’t wait for breakfast tomorrow! I’ll see my cardiologist AFTER vacation! Lol!

Food, Service and atmosphere are great. I would highly recommend this place to family and friends because of that. May want to reconsider seating policies as waitress turned away two guys wanting to have breakfast because they only had a 6 top available. The guys looked upset and went elsewhere to eat. Not sure why they don't use seating in adjacent room, but that could have solved the problem and retained two possible repeat customers.

Overall I would give circle c cafe a 5 out of 5 stars the waitresses are really good and sweet and the place is super clean.

Amazing people. Amazing food. I have never had a bad experience there after eating countless times. My go-to is the mount sunflower biscuits and gravy with ketchup drizzle and half cottage fries and half hash browns, but my new favorite is the Dodge City chicken fried steak.

Biscuits and gravy were delicious. Hard to find good biscuits and gravy out, as most places skimp on the sausage. Very good here, though. Service was decent as well.

The new owners have really taken this place to a new level. The food quality is great. Coffee and specialty coffee drinks are some of the best in town. Joe and Jake care about the food and prepare it to order. The prices are reasonable and the menu is diverse with breakfast and lunch options. Get whatever baked goods they have, they're always awesome.

Great breakfast and service! My new favorite is the Twister with a side of gravy for the hash browns. Chocolate chip pancakes were delicious too!

Quaint small town restaurant, definitely where the locals go, so always a good sign! Staff was super friendly and it's nice to see them take a minute to talk to the regulars, shows that they really care about their clientele. The biscuits and gravy are absolutely some of the best I've tried (and I've definitely tried a lot!), and the prices are extremely reasonable. Even though the parking lot was packed, there was no sense of being overwhelmed and everyone was curtious to each other. A nice spot where you can definitely tell they'll get to know you.

Went to eat on Saturday for lunch. Did not feel welcome from the minute we walked in the door. Ordered bacon cheese burger not sure if bacon was even cooked. Waitresses act like it was a bother to seat us. Will not be back. Other restaurants in paola are more welcoming and better food. Tried restaurant second time after talking to Jacob. Service was top notch greeted with in less than a minute after arriving and seated shortly after that. Food was served hot and large portions. Will be back owners care about service and quality of food. Wish them the best of luck and would recommend highly.

The food was excellent, and people were amazing might not have come around enough but still good, but there was a long wait.

The new owners have excelled at upgrading the menu and quality of the food. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly. Can’t go wrong if you choose the restaurant as a meal for the family or yourself.

Not fair to try this place one time, have a less than great experience, and slam it with a bad review. Been coming here for years, and yes, on occasion it has been less than ideal, mostly due to speed of being attended to. Especially during Covid which was a hard event for many businesses. The food is great, coffee excellent, and a nice hometown vibe. Hopefully new ownership can improve things a bit, the biscuits and gravy are made from scratch now and are 5 stars!
