Chahinkapa Park

Surprisingly interesting little zoo in a small town. I don’t think it will let you down. Nice place to walk or take the kids and look at some interesting animals! They keep it very clean and the area is nice. We go every year!

Neat place love going. Google put one of my not nice reviews on this one. But I really enjoyed it. Love watching the otters.
Last time I went every animalwas sleeping though. Found it kind of funny.

While the fishing can be hit and miss, it is always a pleasant way to spend a few hours. There’s a lot of things to do besides fish, but that’s the main reason we go here. The grandson loves the sculpture garden and considers it a must see every time he visits.

This park gets more beautiful every time I visit. The shelters and the grounds are extremely well kept.

Always love going back here, it's like going home! Love the new/rearranged exhibits.

We had fun at this place .

I can recommend anyone who wants to do meditation.

Great place to have family time

What a gem this place is!! Kathy and Tom were entertaining the kids with an armadillo, and they loved it. This zoo is top-notch with top-notch people running it. Bring the kids and Grandpa and Grandma, too.

Amazing picnic at park with my amazing family followed by still thru the zoo and ended with a ride on the carousel☺ I rode the pink one who's name I think was Hank

Nice park for kids of all ages. Skate park. It's also close to the swimming pool,zoo and camping.

This is such a great zoo for kids and adults alike. So much to see, the trainings are great and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable!

I love this zoo there is a variety of animals. Very nice workers. Price is right. One thing that I can say is not so good is the walk ways are very rough and have cracks in it's surfaces. So if one's use walkers or push wheelchair ♿ it's tough going.

Cute sculpture park!

Nice little campground. Only problem is the guy living in the Kinght shelter. Seems everything we've been here, there are homeless people living around. Wife won't go to the shower house alone because of it. The police come through once in awhile, but they don't seem to notice or care about people living here.
One other thing, the dump station here isn't very clean, there is only one water outlet and I've watched campers put their sewer hose up to the hydrant and clean them out. Should have nonpotable water signs on it.

Great playground for kids. Great experience for the whole family. Plenty of things to do. Bring the kids to the playground. The zoo is amazing. The ducks are fun to watch and to feed. The new sculpture park is very interesting and fun for the whole family. The space is amazing with something for everyone from the zoo to the playground; their's something for everyone

I really liked the park and ducks, it was so calming. Very nice small trails around the park and lakes.

Stopped in for a grad party and hit the zoo and carousel as well. All very nice. Carousel is historic and proudly restored. Zoo is best in the region. Park has been upgraded over the years. Very nice overall facility.

This park was amazing! Beautiful. It was our first time taking our toddler camping and he loved every minute. From the beautiful zoo to lots of walks right by the river! He’s sleeping so good tonight!!!
