City Brew Hall

As a Wahpeton area wedding photographer (Two Birds Photography), City Brew Hall is one of my FAVORITE places to shoot a wedding! The staff is amazing and helpful, and the location is so stunning. I can't think of a similar venue within hours of this one.

The food is fantastic and my boyfriend and I regularly drive from Fergus Falls to have a date night here because we love the food so much.

This place has drastically improved since first opening. I am glad that I came back a 3rd time. The gouda pickles were phenomenal. The mango shrimp tacos were also excellent. The patty melt was delicious and the beer cheese soup was some of the best I have ever had. Food came out hot and the staff was great. Will definitely be back soon

Very cool spot for a town of this size.

Atmosphere in the redeveloped 100 yr old City Hall building is trendy yet welcoming. Service staff was great. Friendly, knowledgeable and not overbearing.

We snagged a couple apps (dry rub wings and gouda pickle wraps) that were great.

My old fashioned was one of the best I've had outside a major metro.

Brisket sandwich was good, maybe a little light on meat/heavy on bread...and I'd recommend serving the horseradish sauce on the side along with the au jus. Sandwich was really good, but could be great!

Steak salad was decent. Cut of beef was a little grissley...which took away from the enjoyment of an otherwise delicious salad.

All in all, great spot with an eclectic and inspired menu. We will be back again to mix it up!

City Brew hall exceeded my husband's and my expectations as our wedding reception venue. Our coordinator, Morgan, was on top of everything and made the planning process a brease. The venue is already beautiful enough as is, but turned out even more romantic and perfect than we could have ever imagined. Our guests only had compliments about the food and the atmosphere. City Brew Hall helped make our wedding day a dream come true.

The Brew is new in Wahpeton and is quite nice!
This old building had been abandoned for several years and was probably at risk of being abolished. It’s the old city hall.
The Brew has a nice bar and restaurant and an event center upstairs. You can’t hear the upstairs event at all from the bar.
I would recommend you give it a try! There is more to see than my photos. It was packed (on a Tuesday) and hard to get good photos.

Went at 1 o’clock on a Saturday and it was not insanely busy. Big place with lots of seating. Quick service and the food was delicious

Cool spot with great service. The young lady that helped us made an awesome sandwich recommendation: the Philly cheese steak option in a pressed wrap, oh so good! Sweet potato fries were also delicious and super crispy. Can't wait to come back on my next trip.

Very good food. Staff very friendly. The thing is it is very busy at times.

Great food. Everyone I was with loved the beer cheese soup. I had shrimp tacos with corn tortillas. Tortillas were not good but rest was. I have yet to find a place in this area with decent corn tortillas though. I definitely recommend this place. If you love repurchased buildings you'll enjoy it.

Overwhelming impressed! The food is so unique and well thought out! Easily fits into the category of best restaurants I've ever been.

stopped off randomly flying across the country because this airport had cheap gas and went to lunch here… Best Club sandwich and french frys I’ve ever had!

Exquisite experience 👌 always friendly staff and food is delicious! If you haven't had a gouda pickle today's your day! The atmosphere of this building is remarkable, the building alone tells many tails. If your new in town or just passing thru I highly suggest stopping by. They even have an outside lounge with a fire pit for those cooler evenings! 😎

Stopped in for later supper and a couple beers with a fellow firefighter the night before testing firefighters in Whapeton. Food and service was great. Nice portion sizes and beer selection was great and nice and cold. Very friendly servers. We also returned the next day with our whole group of firefighters and testers for a noon meal after testing. We had a larger group so they made accommodations and service and food again was outstanding. Definitely would recommend.

Great food, Chef Henre is a certifiable artist when it comes to create some of his dishes.

Excellent stop on a long road trip. Food is great, kids were very happy with their dishes, staff is quite attentive and the building itself is very interesting. Beer selection very good as well.

Excellent place!! Food was super good, fun vibe!! Great customer service!! I left my credit card there like a fool and they were willing to mail it back to me! Highly recommend!

Great selection of food that all tasted wonderful. Added bonus for the kids menu. Reasonably priced with wonderful service and a great atmosphere.

The food was delicious. The kids loved the French toast with fruit and yogurt. oMG sprouts were so tasty. Also got a breakfast waffle sandwich, Dubliner and two pigs & a hen. sweet potato fries crisp though reg fries could have used just a bit longer in fryer.
The little ones devoured the beignets w/0 any frosting
Our server Tiffany was wonderful. She was welcoming, gracious, offered good suggestions and excellent service.
Only suggestion would be better signage to restrooms

I really like the look of this place. The atmosphere is great and the staff is so friendly! I got the philly cheese steak and if you eat these occasionally I would note that there isnt as many peppers on it as there should be but it was still amazing.
