Webster State Park

Very peaceful. Ants and bugs have tried to carry me off but don't they always? Great staff for the lake and the store.

Well laid-out with reasonable rates and full hook-ups. The restroom and showers were well-maintained and clean with no extra fees or tokens required for the showers. It is also set up to accommodate horses and riders.
As a photographer I was thrilled with a summer thunderstorm. The next day, you could never tell it happened. Kids were riding their bikes and folks were out fishing.

Numerous sites for camping, sandy swim beaches, fishing, boating access and sports opportunities make this a great place for day use or multi-day stays.

Decent area to get out and explore. We start on the east side of the dam and walk the spillway before heading up to the lakes main body. Always fun and clean. Signage could be better, but with GPS it almost doesn't matter.

Good fishing, plenty of room to explore, numerous well-placed campsites, friendly and helpful staff, etc.

I was a walk-up with no reservation and got to pick my favorite site in one of their RV campgrounds that had it's own sandy beach and only had 3 other campers in it. Lovely place!

I've been coming to webster lake for over 30 years, its still as good as ever.

Close to home, so it gets 5 stars. Not a bad lake, camping can be a bit crowded, though. Enjoy visiting here!

Great state park! Camped in old marina campground and had plenty of shade and sites were good sized. Bathrooms were clean and liked that they were individual bathrooms with showers. Make sure you check Google earth to find spots with shade, some are out in the open with no trees.

Great lake in Northwest KS! Nice boat ramps and docks, well maintained buildings and campsites. Always mowed and looking very nice. They also have life jackets to 'borrow' for the day, they don't care about the fee they just want to make sure that everyone on the water is covered if needed.

Fishing was amazing. They do have a blue green algae problem so swim at your own risk. We did not have an issue and swam in the lake 3 days but were informed if any stomach issues came up go to the doctor also we were informed that this algae is especially harmful to dogs.

Good facilities. Public swim beach was recently groomed. Stayed in primitive camping in the Old Town area on the north shore right next to the swim beach. Pretty good time.

Working for Stockton correctional facility an volunteer for the lake. It's a wonderful Park. I help build the dump station.
