Bought a Lexus 2010 IS 350c from Lauer. When I first saw the car online I was a little skeptical because it looked awesome from the photos, I went ahead and made the 4 hour trip to go see it. I had a local place check it out mechanically and everything looked sound no issues just like Jay had stated and cosmetically was in better shape than I expected inside and out. Definitely was worth the 4 hour drive do not regret it one bit. Extremely honest, trustworthy and fair family owned/run business. While I was there saw some of the antique car projects that they had going on for customers really quite impressive work, If I ever get a classic will definitely see what they can do with it.

Very friendly people. We were able to to buy a good truck for a very fair price. Jay had all the paperwork for the work that had been done since he had owned the vehicle and was more than happy to let us thoroughly look it over. Also, as a reputable repair shop you can trust that any repairs that have been done were done correctly.

Based on my interactions with Lauer Auto throughout the acquisition and purchase of my 2015 Mustang GT, I count Jay in the latter group. From the beginning Jay was friendly, helpful, and provided great insight and assistance in finding a car for me. He worked hard to find me not only a good deal but a car that was in excellent condition, providing assurance that I would not find significant problems after leaving his lot. While his business is relatively new and growing down in Clearwater, Jay is supremely knowledgeable and a sincere pleasure to work with throughout the car buying process. I would gladly purchase a car from Lauer Auto again, and often recommend this business to others seeking a place to buy a car.

Jay took two cars on trade for one and made what i felt like was a very good deal. The initial viewing didnt got 100% to plan but Jay kept to his word while i adressed a couple things on my end. Even with people trying to get him to sell them the car he held to our agreement. Jay is a very trust worthy dealer, he really stands behind his word and goes above and beyond. I would not hesitate to buy from him again in the future. I will be recommending him to anyone for their future car needs as well!

We saw a link come up for a truck and then the link disappeared but my husband was able to request info before it did. We originally was on our way to Oklahoma to look at another truck when the dealer called and told us they sold the truck out from under us after telling us they had set it aside.
We happened to be on our way back on the turnpike and we happened to get a call from Lauer about the truck we saw that morning but couldn't find the link
We got to Lauer owner was super nice had the keys ready to go and we test drove it. This was on a Saturday so he let us pay a deposit so we could get everything done with the bank at the first of the week
Company was great did an oil change on the truck before we picked it up

Went down to buy a 2006 F150. Jay didn’t try to up sell me but when i saw a 2011 he answered every question i asked about the difference in both. The price was better then private parties. I have had a couple of little issues the first week. Which I’m ok with on a used car. He stood behind the car. Even sent me to a mechanic near me so i didn’t have to go all the way to Clearwater. I am looking forward to following his inventory to look for a car for my wife.
