Like stepping back in time. My favorite book brought me here. Beautiful with both storm clouds on the horizon or on a sunny afternoon.

Whoa, the feeling of stepping back in time was profound. 610 acres of virgin prairie stretched before us. Very little evidence of humans, depending on which direction one looked. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Stopped for a hike here in the Prarie, amazing sunsets. Recommend coming at sunset and staying for the stars!

Glad that someone had the foresight to set aside this land for its natural beauty. There were eight or so placards describing the area, a memorial to Willa Cather and a beautiful 600 acre land. Naturally beautiful to view. Easy to get off/on highway 281 to view with its round circular driveway. Interesting roadside memorial and a great place to stretch your legs and take in some wonderful scenery.

Awesome scenery with a 360 degree view of the rolling prairie as far as the eye can see. There is a display that helps guide and understanding of Willa Cather.
