Highly recommended. It's off the beaten path... but the pie alone is worth the trip. Check this place out! Great food & service.

Love this place. It's like stepping back in time. A slower, more peaceful time. Small town diner with delicious home cooking. Highly recommend!

Are yoh still growing most everything you serve? Haven't been there since 1988! But it's on our "bucket list" to come back. My Mamaw died in '88 and I spent several weeks in Sheldon MO helping my folks with the estate. We drove to Cooky's nearly every day for dinner. Tried every pie on the menu and everything else as well. I'm 71 now and I still tell folks about how good it was and to be sure stop in if in the area. Thanks for still being there!!

Delicious meal, excellent service, very nice atmosphere. This restaurant does not disappoint - they have been in business for many, many years.

I haven't eaten at Cooky's Cafe in several years. When my family was still alive they lived in Pittsburg, Kansas, Liberal, Missouri, and Lamar, Missouri. All of my family has now passed away so I don't get down to that part of the country anymore. I live in Wichita, Kansas and it's hard to find down home cooking like Cooky's Cafe in a city this big. Every time I ate at Cooky's Cafe the food was fabulous, the service was awesome and the atmosphere was fantastic. I always enjoyed eating there. I strongly recommend eating at Cooky's Cafe. Don't forget about the pies.
Keep up the great work. May God bless you always!

This place is a landmark! I had pie for dinner here, then pie again for breakfast. A must-do for cyclists on the TransAmerica router.

Great food , service and atmosphere. Had the fried chicken, mashed taters, green beans and corn. And to top it off with a slab of choc Meringue pie. Everything was excellent. Beautiful small cafe.

This place is an dear old favorite , and that is for all the important reasons.
The food can be counted on to be the exact same yum that I e always known Cooky's Cafe to be.
Fresh homemade pies are baked daily .. Main courses have a lot to offer with locally farm raised pork, and beef.. who really knows about the chicken's background??
... but the pies!!!
If you get a chance , and you are sliding through GoldenCity , Missouri , ya gotta 🛑 in this place , and you should have no problem finding it.

This place is a cozy old school restaurant. It opened around 1942 and is still going. The food is just incredible and the staff are very helpful and friendly. They have some of the best pies in the area.

Stopped in to grab some food to go for a late picnic with my wife, and noticed immediately how busy they were. Even so, the waitress who took out order was quick to help us, and our food was ready quickly. The fried chicken was delicious. Absolutely the best chicken I've had in awhile. And the blackberry pie we had was perfection, just absolutely amazing. Hope to visit again in the near future!
