US Center Motel

I like to give Credit Due where it's Due. Had an opportunity to talk with Lisa at the US Center Motel in Smith Center Kansas. I have a room booked for Christmas Day. She is the Manager there. The Owner should be very Happy that He Has Her as as an Employee. Very nice Person has great people person Communication skills and I'm sure any Job she has did that she has been an asset.
We as Americans need to support Our Local Mom and Pop Motels And Small Businesses.Definately a nice place clean laid back and I Highly recommend this Motel and their extended stay portion to all all Truckers and Travelers making their way on US Highway 36. Thumbs up to this Motel and Lisa the Manager.👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸

Five stars because the review is written for what the motel is, a value priced independent property.

Price: double room, one person: $72/night all in.
Check-in, efficient and quick.
Parking: directly in front of my room on a well maintained asphalt surface that is level (important stuff to moto riders)
Room: Nice, wood walls, not paneling, wood.,a window unit AC, could stand to be a it bigger, microwave, fridge, coffee bar, nice vanity, table between beds with alarm clock, REAL HANGERS, 2 extra blankets, a nice desk with a small but functional office chair. TV is a mid-sized modern flat screen.
Bathroom: stand up shower, no tub. Clean Two towels, I prefer three in a double. Hand towels and face cloths. All very clean.
Beds: Not great but good enough. Two pillows/bed should be three.
WIFI: Super fast, 9ms ping

Nits:
More towels in a double, queen beds would be nice for those of us over 6-feet tall, pillows are bad and we should have more. It took well over an hour to cool down the room. Bigger AC unit

None of the nits are enough to keep me away, I would stay here again.

Quiet corner room, remodeled beautifully. They gave me rags to wipe down my Harley. Manager's young son very helpful. Best resonably priced place I've stayed in years. Thanks so much!

The management is so friendly, room was exceptionally clean, and overall met our needs perfectly. Would highly recommend! (Our toddler crawled under the bed so I was expecting who knows what under there. When I checked it was spotless!)

The rooms were in excellent condition, seriously comfy beds. The managers are great people to chat to and very helpful. All in all an absolutely class stay with great hosts.

very hospitable, helpful ,accommodating, staff , the amazing the hard working manager that will go out of her way to help. all that combine with very clean. well keep. comfortable rooms then you get definitely one of the ,if not, the best motel I have stayed at

Surprisingly wonderful little motel! Very clean and well kept. Nice hot showers!Owners are very friendly and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The rooms were impeccably cleaned...The Beds were beyond comfortable and the stay was very peaceful 😌 nice affordable stay with the BEST management I've encountered!

The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were well maintained. It's cute and quaint and right next to an amazing BBQ place.

Older place but very clean. Comfortable bed.

Extremely friendly (though I think the usual people were on vacation) and a pleasant place to stay.

Had a very pleasant stay they treated us like family oh how I miss you everyone there
