Had keys made and the gentleman working was very nice. Store was clean.

I was in immediate need to have my locks changed, thankfully Norbert said he would stop by after work to take a look. I was extremely grateful for him coming on short notice and off the clock. However when he arrived, I explained that the front door lock was priority as I ratchet strapped the back doors for now, to which his response was “you probably wouldn’t have to worry about someone coming in anyway”. That shouldn’t matter wether it is something I “should be worried about” or not. And more so because this very day someone DID have the code to my building and let themselves in! Hence why I was in immediate need to change them. We then went to the front door and he asked for the spare, (I have several to look through) so as I’m trying the first one and pull it out, he haughtily comments “that ones not the right one”. So I retort with “really? I was going to try it again.” he said “You’d be surprised how many people do”. It’s just that it was very rude the way he said it. Then he said he could have it done the next day and if I could come by to pick up the key. I asked if he could just call me when he comes over and I could meet him here. We kind of went back and forth on this a little bit and I made clear I would prefer to be here, to which his response was “well if you don’t trust me enough to change your locks, you should probably find someone else” so I said something along the lines of “it’s just business”. As I stood there shocked at what I just heard and the way I had been treated, I called out to him and asked his name again, he said “Norbert” then I said “you know what, I think I will have someone else change them for me, I’d like my key back please.” He gave it back and left. Very unprofessional and rude. Also to note the entire time we were looking at the backdoor he was talking and explaining things to my boyfriend who just happened to stop in, even though I told him I bought the building and I’m the one who called about the locks.
