Palasota's Place

This was a nice surprise to find. Service here was fast and the food was at a reasonable price. If you like Smoked BBQ I suggest you try it out. Pulled pork sliders were great and I wouldn't call them sliders myself. They came on a standard size bun. The half rack of ribs were great and had excellent flavor.

It's definitely a small town hidden gem. Right of 54 HWY next to the post office in Macks Creek. It will be one of the few places just off the road to grab a well cooked meal as you head west.

My friend and I were expecting to eat here on our way to Camdenton we found the spot but this restaurant was gone and another one in it's place. I think it was called Rise and Shine. When we walked in the aroma was amazing and we knew we were in an awesome place. Food was great!! People were great!!! It will be a stop we will make on our next trip to the area. If you go there try the fried pickles YUMMY!

If you are looking for a good hole in the wall then this is your spot. I travel often for work and try to eat as much local food as I can and I am very glad I found this place. There is nothing fancy with the decor or the atmosphere, but the service and the food make up for that 10 fold. The waitresses are as sweet as can be! When the food is presented its fairly underwhelming, but you get over that feeling real quick. It was some of the best brisket I've had in my life. Absolutely falls apart and every bit is saturated with flavor. Sometimes the meal is made by the atmosphere and presentation but sometimes you just need darn good food and that's exactly what you get here. Some meat, a bun, and an amazing experience.

Great food! We took a chance and stopped here on our way through town. So good! The food was served fast, friendly staff, and really good portion sizes. Some of the most tender, moist, flavorful meat I have ever had at a bbq place. Make sure to try the sweet & spicy bbq sauce!

PHENOMENAL BBQ. The cowboy sandwich is delicious, some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had with their spicy bbq sauce. Delicious pecan pie a la mode, and exceptional service from Janie. Well worth the drive if you’re considering it! Don’t pass by this place.

We were in the area for deer season, and decided to check out Palasota's Place as it had great reviews. We were not disappointed. We had chopped brisket, pulled pork, and a 1/2 pound hamburger, along with fried okra, french fries, and baked beans. We will definitely be back each time we're in the area hunting!

A great place to eat!! Terrific BBQ and Smoked Burgers. We have eaten there several times, often with guests, and the opinion is the same.... "one of the best ever eaten". Service is great , atmosphere is very comfortable. Just can't be beat and very reasonable prices.

Stopped here on my birthday to get some yummy bbq for my dinner. Wonderful woman, helped us order just what we needed. Food service was quick and accurate. And the bbq was very very good! Homemade potato salad was excellent. Thank you. I will be back!

Food was excellent, price was about average compared to other BBQ places, but the food was 10x better than other "BBQ joints". They do offer burgers, but didn't try any of them. Definitely will be back and spreading the word about this hidden gem in Macks Creek!

Most definitely best BBQ I have eaten and at 62 have tried a lot. My blonde better half agreed, with her in wheel chair all was accessible except restrooms. If your looking for ambiance and frills keep moving but if you want good food at a fair price with friendly staff this is the place. About a hour from home but was told will be our go to place.

Joe and Tina have made a small town, local BBQ restaurant worth the trip. We drive out from Camdenton for the best BBQ in central Missouri. Great food, great service, good prices! Try the Cowboy if you're really hungry.

I live in Las Vegas and am visiting family out here in the midwest. On our trip to Branson we passed by Palasota's place and actually turned around to go back to eat here and I'm so glad we did. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the food was just exceptionally tasty. I got the Cowboy which was a pulled pork and brisket bbq sandwich. The meat was juicy and flavorful, and their homemade bbq sauce was sweet and tangy. I got full before finishing the whole thing but just loved the flavor so much I just stuffed the rest down. Unfortunately I didn't save room for their apple pie. I also got their baked beams as a side and those were absolutely delicious as well. I highly reccomend this place looking for a great locally owned mom n' pop bbq place. Thank you Palasota's Place!

Best BBQ I've ever had. Large portions. Super friendly service. Owners Joe and Tina took time to sit and talk. Awesome hospitality.

Extremely friendly and clean!!! First time there. Had the brisket sandwich and wife had a burger. The brisket fell apart Soo tender and awesome flavor !!! Highly recommend this place 👍 !!!

If you're passing by or visiting the area, stop here for a bite. Tasty food up and down the menu. Great service. Friendly atmosphere. Sides, sandwiches, meat, and desserts are all good.

The food was excellent and you get a lot for your money, the service was quick and friendly, and the owners are great, down to earth people. Also, it is CLEAN! Definitely worth the stop!
