MainStay Suites Watford City - Event Center

This hotel has been the most excellent place all the way around. Super friendly staff from the front desk services to housekeeping. Even management will personally speak to you to make sure that your stay is being made the most pleasant experience as it can be. This is by far the #1 hotel to stay at while in Watford City, North Dakota.

Perfect location for me. it's a drive to get to the grocery store, but the room is equipped with what's needed to cook and eat after the trip. Very friendly service, I will be here for a while, and I look forward to it.

The front desk staff was exceptional! Especially the lady with red, curly hair (sorry, forgot her name). She was so warm, friendly, and welcoming. In the morning, they were always cleaning the lobby. The breakfast had a good selection. Rooms were clean and comfortable. It was a nice bonus having the kitchenette and a full size fridge/freezer. I just can't say enough for how much the front desk staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great.

Would give 5.5 stars if I could. Excellent place to stay. The suite had spacious bedroom, bathroom and a kitchenette with full sized microwave and fridge. Also an induction stovetop. The suite was squeaky clean. The towels were fluffy. There was a very nice fitness room downstairs, again squeaky clean with new equipment. (treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike, cable rack, various fitness balls and hand weights, several yoga mats, stretch bands.) Free breakfast with many selections including biscuits & gravy, waffles, sausages, hot & cold cereal, juice, etc. Best of all, the price was surprisingly low. Stay here for a day or a week, you won't regret it!

Employees are awesome. Helpful and fo above and beyond to accommodate you and your fur baby. Lovebit, love them and highly recommend it.

As An Executive Housekeeping Director for Fargo’s first Upscale Hotel with 25 years of experience I was at first leery of this Hotel with hearing about my husband’s stay and he will be there for little bit yet. On Saturday night I had asked Ronda if there was a way to get a full clean of his room set up I instantly knew they had no Exectiuve Housekeeper, and are short staffed but it’s not an excuse for neglecting the long term workers there. Any way Ronda is a delight she personally went up to his room he is sharing with a co worker and did the full clean on Sunday that should have been done on Friday thank you Ronda😊 because we all know how dirty a bathroom can get with two men and the germs and in this time with COVID it’s not good. The Morning Front Desk Manager I can’t remember his name “I’m sorry” 😊 very polite, professional, and was paying attention to detail way to go 👍🏻. A little advice for the GM it’s ultimately your hotel and responsibility to make sure your departments are trained right to aid in every department and when short staffed you should be there to help, it’s not hard to schedule your long term workers once a week full clean service I’ll help you a little you take each company staying there long term and simply clean each company’s room’s during the week example company 1 gets full cleaning on Tuesday company 2 on Wednesday and so on the weekends get busy inform your long term customer’s that full cleaning won’t be offered on weekends. With that said thank you to Ronda and the Front Desk Manager who was on Monday morning keep up the great work ya two. Hope to see you soon my next trip 😊 thank you for the great room.

Honestly a great hotel. Loved the rooms, service was good and breakfast was pretty decent. If I'm ever in the area, this is the place I'll be staying.

Clean, well-maintained rooms. Comfy (for me) beds, but pillows flatten down with weight. A/C unit works great and has a Constant Fan feature for white noise. Kitchenette has a full-sized refrigerator. Free wifi is middle of the road; not blazing but not slow. I appreciate the glass shower stall (who really uses a tub in a hotel) but there is only 1 small corner shelf so multiple toiletries make that difficult. There are plenty of power outlets to use. Overall, it's the MainStay Suites you expect (if you've been to other locations) and well maintained.

Me and my friends are here to celebrate a life who’s past. I also work manager at a choice hotel in hamilton Montana. The night audit was such a sweet heart. The lady who checked us in was so helpful. The rooms was up to par. We stayed two nights and was treated like royalty. I will be staying here again when I visit. Thanks for the hospitality.

very friendly and accomodating staff, there was an incident with my pickup where a guest left a nasty note on my windshield, (on his room reciept) and the manager contacted his employer and also had him escorted from the premises. very clean rooms , quiet and peaceful place to stay. i would recomend this hotel to anyone

Staff was incredible! Rooms were clean and nicely layed out. Loved the walk in shower! If I'm ever in Watford City again, I'll be staying here!

Great place to stay, very comfortable and nice staff! No pool, but two good laundry rooms and daily breakfast. PLUS free dinner on Wednesday's. Quiet location in town.
