Once Upon A Child - Cape Girardeau, MO

First time I had been there. Size newborn to size 16 kids clothing. Christmas onsies, Christmas outfits, sweaters, sweatshirts, jackets, coats, shoes, boots, 2 piece pajamas, zip up one piece pajamas with feet, toys, books, strollers, baby carriers/slings, lots of different things to choose from. Newborn to 12 months bodysuits/onsies 10/$10. Prices $1.50 & up.

We live an hour away and always go to Once Upon A Child in Cape to buy clothes, toys, books, and shoes for our kids. The facility is exceptionally clean and very fragrant, and everything is organized in a way that it makes it easy finding colors and sizes. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and always generous when purchasing our used clothes. The selection is always plentiful, and the prices are affordable. Parking can be a little tricky on the weekend, because they are usually busy. They have some great clearance sales on a regular basis, and you can get text alerts about them which are really helpful. Overall, if you have kids, specifically between the ages of newborn to 13-14, this is the place to go.

They have great deals on good quality items. It is always clean and well-organized in the store. Unfortunately, there is only a couple of team members that act like they care or want to be there. Will return for the deals.

Love OUAC!! The store is always clean & well lit. They have an incredible selection, marked with sizes. Their prices are great & their employees are always so helpful. Also, it was nice that everyone continued like nothing was going on, when my grandson had a melt down in the doorway!! Nice to be around others that understand!

Love this store! I've gotten many great deals here! I was in there yesterday and today. Starting my Christmas shopping and this is a great place to find toys for the little ones since they grow out of them so quickly. Tons of clothes too! I love how the kids can look through the toys and interact with some of them.

The staff is super nice and quick to help if possible. I find the prices are good and the items they take in second hand to be in great condition. They also will give store credit for item, I find this very convenient for me. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Kids clothes are so affordable here. I can't believe their prices and how organized they really are. Wanna find good bargains for your kids clothes and shoes? This is the right place to shopping. All their clothes and shoes that they sell are high quality even though it's been worn. You'll see what I mean.

This place always has something to buy. Store is clean. Parking can be a little tight at times. There is only a week return time frame. I only buy what I for sure want because I'm only in the area every couple weeks. Staff seems nice.

Staff was so nice and friendly! Very affordable and they have so many things to choose from. Even have deals going on all of the time so you really do save a lot. Dont go to walmart to buy the baby clothes! Come here! 5 outfits for $60 at walmart can get your baby a whole wardrobe at this place.

Phenomenal staff! Came in just before (probably after) closing and they helped get some much needed soccer cleats for one of our kids right before practice. Very much appreciated!! Great selection and condition.

Love this place. The staff alone makes it a great place to want to shop/sell. They are all so friendly and I’ve been in several times. The store is always clean and they have great stuff.

I come in here all the time, I live 2 hours away.
Sometime I come and there closed will ruin my day. I at least dropped $5000 here in the couple months. Many more to come, because my baby girl has arrived!
I do wish the preemie section was bigger.

Really great quality stuff for a great price. They have toys and some furniture, but their clothing selection is the main focus here. We brought them some of our old stuff and they are super selective about what they will buy from you, but that's why their inventory is so high-quality.

Very nice place, much larger & more to it than you'd expect from driving by a strip mall storefront. Large selection of nicely priced new & used baby/children's items, from clothing to toys & all manner of baby needs. It's a consignment store, so while letting go of old baby goods is what originally brought me in there, I'm sure I'll be back to shop for new things.

This. Place. Is. Awesome! If you have a kid in grade school or younger, you should visit. If you have a new baby, you absolutely must go. Great clothes, shoes, etc for rock bottom prices, like $1.50 for a onesie.

Great prices for items still in good condition. Very organized and i like how they sort the clothes by size & color. I will definitely be going back.

I love shopping here. I always find nice quality children's clothing and toys here. The store is laid out very well for a resale store and pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend for anyone looking for children and baby items.

Very clean store with friendly staff. Wide selection of boy and girls clothing. Good experience will be back. Loved they had a changing table and changing rooms to breastfeed in.
