We ate at the Mill restaurant and had a wonderful time. I had heard various people say that the atmosphere was wonderful, but the food was just OK. I found that my meal was excellent. My friend had the rib meat pasta and he said it was fantastic. It was a great place to take an out-of-town friend, who was looking for something unique. The views are unmatched and it has a cool feel inside. It was a great experience for me and I highly recommend it.

It took me awhile to get my husband to come here but now it’s one of our favorite places to have a Friday night date or relaxed Sunday afternoon. The afternoon porch pounder made with vodka instead of bourbon. is one of my favorite local drinks. This last visit I tried the catfish and wasn’t crazy about the fishy taste but our waitress took it off our check and said that they get a lot of complaints on it. We order the spinach dip pretty much every visit and would definitely recommend!

We love The Mill and have been in before but today was extra special! Linda was our server and she was so fun! Mu husband and I felt like we were reconnecting with an old friend. She shared heartfelt stories and was interested in ours too. She is truly a gem!
The view from restaurant is breathtaking, surrounded by nature and beauty. The historic building and all the work that goes into maintaining that is impressive beyond words. The food is fresh and delicious, highly recommend the salmon spread! We took a walk across the bridge to The Chapel after lunch and it was just a magnificent experience! We will be back soon!

We really enjoyed our date night here. Great food. The steak and salmon were cooked perfectly. The risotto fritters, we could have eaten 10 of them. The cast-iron cornbread was light and fluffy and the honey drizzle was perfect. One of the best Old Fashions I've ever had. We didn't have room for dessert.

The location is gorgeous. We loved seeing the stream while eating. They started a fire in the fireplace and made it so cozy.

We will be back and excited to try new things.

First and foremost, this place is absolutely gorgeous!!!! Me and my friend came here to celebrate my 25th Birthday, and somehow we visited at the perfect time. It wasn't too crowded, and we were seated by the window overlooking the stream. We even got to watch a blue heron fish the stream while we ate.

Next, our waiter was a doll. His name was Nate, and he took excellent care of us. He was very polite, super knowledgeable, and had excellent pacing/hospitality.

The food 🤤: We almost didn't come here because a lot of people had said the atmosphere is pretty but the food is meh. I don't know what food they ate, but that wasn't my experience. Their spinach dip was amazing from the creme brulee styled crust to the fresh lightly toasted bread. It was gooey and warm, perfect for the atmosphere. I would recommend adding a few more entree items to the menu though. It felt a little limited, maybe just 2-3 more dishes.

I ordered the Afternoon Porch Pounder, it was very refreshing. I do feel like adding muddled strawberries and a sugar lip is what it was missing. Still good though!

As for entrees, Nate pointed me towards the Salmon as one of his favorites. I was hesitant knowing that it's usually pretty hard to find fresh salmon in the Midwest, and I have had amazing salmon in Montana. But he assured me it was good and man he wasn't lying. It was some of the best salmon I have ever had. The caper sauce and lemon made it so much more flavorful and it was cooked perfectly. It had a well flavoured crust and was nice and pink/juicy in the middle. I am coming back for that salmon!!

My friend got the short rib pasta, I tried a bit and it was very good aswell. She really loved the big noodles and the sauce.

For dessert we ordered the green tomato cake. It was surprisingly good, but my critiques here would be to the kitchen. First, I mentioned to the waiter that I have a nut allergy. He said he would tell them to leave the candied pistachios off the cake, but it still came out with nuts (it was brought out by a different server). When Nate realized it had nuts on it, he apologized and made a point to take the cake off our ticket. He didn't have to do that, but I greatly appreciated it. But for the kitchen: please please please watch out for allergy warnings. I could die, which really sucks for me when I stop breathing and sucks for you when ambulances take up most your parking.

Another critique I would have it the presentation of the cake was pretty bland. Compared to the other items we had, the presentation wasn't super appetizing.

One small hospitality thing I want to mention, Nate boxed and bagged our leftovers for us. Such a nice little touch to top off our evening at The Ozark Mill. It was really touching and thoughtful.

Linda was a wonderful server! She answered all of our questions and recommended delicious food. Two of the men in our family enjoyed the burger and thought it was the best burger in all of Southwest Missouri! The fries were extra crispy and very tasty.

We had reservations for 2 PM on a Friday for a group of 7. It was Happy Hour! Everything we ordered was fabulous! The Happy Hour Menu had lots of great appetizers and drinks. We had both of the flat breads, fritters, several different draft beers, and one cocktail for the college graduate! The portions were generous, and we left with 3 takeout containers.

We look forward to returning soon. Thanks for an awesome experience and a perfect location to celebrate our daughter's college graduation.

Amazing food for lunch or supper. The atmosphere is extremely relaxed. It sits next to a stream that adds to the experience. Our waiter was phenomenal. Without a doubt, I recommend this for anyone looking to have a relaxed lunch/dinner.

I was looking for a special location to take my wife to dinner for our 48th wedding anniversary. We had not been to Finley Farms since it opened and wanted to try it. Wow, are we glad we did. We both had the 12 ounce ribeye and it was delicious. The best steak we’ve eaten in the area. I had made reservations for 6:15, but was able to arrive much sooner and the staff enthusiastically accommodated us. We will recommend to our family and friends and will be back ourselves. Thank you for a memorable experience.

The salmon dip was amazing! The ricotta ravioli was really good too. I added chicken to the dish. The only thing that threw me off with this dish was the chopped up pistachios. I’m not a huge fan of nuts in my dishes but it was still really good. The pork chop was really yummy. My favorite that I tried was the chicken and dumplings. (Not pictured). The vibe is really cute. The service took a little long but other than that, everything was great!

Cool place right on the water! Food was enjoyable as was the service. Nice happy hour 2-5pm M-F. Seasonal specials. Had the brisket pasta, good and rich! Sharable for sure! Caesar salad needed more dressing, but good. Green tomato dessert was good.

No complaints here. Great food, service and atmosphere. It's a little costly but defiantly a great date night location/ if you're just looking for food in general.

The atmosphere is truly unique. Set in an old saw mill built in the 1800s. The wood floors & and the working of the old Mill really make it unique. The grounds are beautiful to walk around. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly and able to answer any questions you may have about the menu.

Loved this place. The food was all delicious. We tried the pizza, burger, power bowl, spinach dip, cobbler and the green tomato cake! We were a party of 4 so we all shared and we were happy we did. The view of the river was beautiful too! Our server was very helpful and honest with helping us make selections.
The green tomato cake was so good and is a must try!

Recently had a birthday dinner here, just my husband and I, and we were so impressed with the food! I had the chicken and dumplings with cornbread gnocchi and it was absolutely incredible! Honestly one of the best things I have ever eaten. Husband had the short rib pasta and loved it. Food was presented beautifully and the depth of flavor was insane. I wanted to try the seasonal cocktail also because it sounded really yummy, but just couldn't bring myself to pay $12 for one cocktail. Not when meals are already $25 - $30 a plate. But I'm cheap, lol. Yes, the food was pricey, but worth every penny. I was talking about my chicken and dumplings for the rest of the night. I do believe this may have to be a new birthday tradition 😊

My wife and I have gone there several times, including taking friends from out of town who were blown away with the surroundings and decor.

We've found that it's a great place to realx and have a drink on the weekends, then stroll the grounds across the footbridge and over by the weeding chapel. Bartenders are always cordial and make great drinks, even though they're usually very busy.

The food is fresh and delicious. Their summer menu was incredible. Our table tried the peach cocktails and peach ice cream and loved them! Our server was so nice and accommodating. I brought my mom and sister from out of town here to show them the best of the Ozarks and it did not disappoint!

Made a special detour to visit the Mill while on our way to BlueGreen Wilderness club for a quiet weekend get away. It was well worth the time. Beautiful setting beside the Finley River with a spectacular view of the spillway. Can't say enough about the serving staff who were top notch
But the food.....the food was wonderful. Moderately priced but uniquely delicious. Drop by and taste a little bit of heaven.

What a great place for a romantic date night. We came during the day to view the river during sunset. I would highly recommend coming here. It’s also a family friendly restaurant.
